Brilliant idea Ash…..the only way I thought I knew of replacing the foot clutch set up was marrying up a m20 gearbox with a conventional foot change…. waiting for part 2
i have made a foot clutch hand release upgrade for several wla inc mine it works very well . the problem is with trying to have a hand clutch only is because of the clutch design the loads on the hand piece are too high to be able to use as i have also proved but the foot pedal which matches the brake pedal with the hand release works perfect.
@@theworkshopuk a quick question to Ash….are there any recommendations you have for the case a WL ran for 3 minutes with the oil tap OFF? As it is, o feel no signs of damage but would you have any special recommendations on what to check? Thank you,
the fella wants to mess around with the foot pedal engage / release point so it is at a comfortable angle, he'll miss those rear tyre 'chirps', i blame puberty blockers.

I made one to use on my WLA for the same reason. Just about works for pulling away..
Nice video, I am quite curious to see the outcome.

Thanks for another great video! Just wondering how the bloke is going to shift gears while riding with no foot clutch?

Would a "travel agent" be any use? These are used on bikes with v-brakes and alter the cable pull ratio using a metal disc cam arrangement

As a random thought would a spring either pushing or pulling the central pivot leaver act as an assister?

Can a mousetrap assist be used to aid the lever?

If you dont want a foot clutch you dont want a WL
