Good win, but we only did the minimum of what we needed for this series which was a split! We really needed to win it 3-1 to truly be back on track. We have to win both of the games against the Mets and start being more consistent just like we were those first 72 games.

Ben Rice not getting tossed, smart move. When you're struggling like that, you needed an RBI without swinging the bat, and it was a bad call. But when you're in a slump, even the calls are going to get you. Learn from it, bust out of the slump and you'll be better for it.

Well atleast by it being a 4 game series...we can now say we haven't lost 2 series in a row. Winning the balt series b4 the break....and splitting the Tampa series now.
Man Cashman better do some magic at the trade deadline! We have 4 holes in the lineup, with or without Stanton, and we need a solid bullpen arm or a starter. Nasty Nestor is nasty for the wrong reasons. Rodon is inconsistent and judge and Soto and Cole and Gil can’t carry this team by themselves. Nobody has a championship, must win every single game attitude like Jeter did. We need that NOW!
