    I did PRP for a year and it was costly, the injections were painful, and there was zero change at all. It costs between $500-$700 plus per session every 4-6 months.

      Good to know.. but how far was your hair gone? As the video states that you gotta be in your early stages for it to be effective.
      However, I’m the video also states that people venture into this treatment as they like natural methods instead of medication (which has side effects)
      So in saying that…. if you’re naturally genetically going to go bald… the PRP won’t stop or inhibit DHT affecting your hair follicles.
      (So if this works as a stimulant for growth, like minoxidil…. )
      Then you’d have to still take finasteride to prevent DHT along with this PRP or PRF…..

      @@eeiko321 Well, my hair had been thick and was only trying it to ensure I maintained or enhanced. Two other doctors later told me they'd seen no signs efficacy in PRP for their hair loss patients. These were top hair transplant docs in the US. They could've told me they spin the blood at a different rate etc., though they flat our said don't do it again and you're not missing out on anything.

    Question: Whats the best way to apply minoxidil?
    how am i supposed to apply it when i have long hair? i feel like it barely reaches the scalp.
    also how am i supposed to spread 1ml on my giant scalp area? its hard to cover the whole hair-loss area with just 1ml

    • @eden5260
      @eden5260 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Depends if you use foam or liquid
      The liquid Is by far easier to spread
      Use the extractor thing that goes directly on the scalp under the hair , and instead of squeezing the pump thing just tap the entire thing on your head and move around ,
      It will realise much smaller drops.
      They also said in a previous video that some people may need 1.5 or 2 mL depending on the area you are using it on,
      By tapping it is easier to cover the entire head with 1ml but if you feel you need more just do it with cautious .
      I once used too much and I became sick for a while.
      Lastly many people say you should wise your fingers to massage it into the scalp but I am not sure it isn't easy with long hair to do that.

    Can I use topical minoxidil in morning and then rosemary oil at night? I mean is it harmful to use both at same time?

    • @eden5260
      @eden5260 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I tried it for a while not on a daily basis because I don't believe shampooing hair every day is healthy
      my main concern was that the oil will clog the pores which are vital for minoxidil to work.
      So if you don't use micro needling before minoxidil I would assume it can do more harm than good.

    Have you looked into Bhringraj Oil? As someone who can't tolerate minoxidil even at a 1% concentration I was looking for an alternative and found an interesting study they used on mice where Bhringraj oil showed much more growth over a 14 day period. Would be interested in your take on this and what the best application practice would be.

      Twice a week would be optimal .
      Or 10 per month .
      If u experienced lot of shedding u can do 1 per day . Then slow down to 2-3 per week .
      For long term 1-2 a week is optimal once u get stable ..
      Duta +prp works wonder
      Duta +3-4 prp in 5 month
      Then once per 6 month .

      Don't take my word but if I remember correctly it is said that dutastride has a working effect of 5 days.
      Finasteride only works for 24/5 hours
      Once a week will probably be worthless

      1mg a week can work only if you take it frequently, so take 0.25mg 4 times a week, eventually it will build up in the tissues
