    What church did you settle in? It’s important for me to get in a good church. I need to be connected to other believers. That’s really helpful.

      We found a church in Humble called United City Church. It’s been great for us!

      @@MakingHoustonHome thank you. I just like to gather suggestions and be able to look them up, see what they speak on in sermons and what their values are before I get there.

      I go to St Martha Catholic Church in Kingwood. It’s a really nice church and I’ve met some friends there as well.

    Man I remember driving from Arizona to Savannah. 29 hours. I said I will NEVER do that drive again in my LIFE! I broke it up into 3 days but it was just too much.
    Great video Lara!

      That’s a long haul! We don’t drive anywhere over like 4 hours with our kids lol. I think the drive when we moved here has us traumatized 🤣

    • @Mita7401
      @Mita7401 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MakingHoustonHome it IS trauma! I sit here thinking sometimes like how am I gonna do a 15 hour drive back to Texas. It just hurts my whole soul. I took the 10 freeway coming here for most of the drive. The bridges were too high in Louisiana so I have to map out a route that’s gonna probably take me longer but less trauma. The 10 freeway is rough rugged and raw from Cali to Jacksonville lol.

    I really enjoyed looking at this video…I am also a believer in Christ…are community centres good places to meet people and if so can you recommend good ones? As I would assume some community centres are more active than others…

      Hey! I’m glad you enjoyed the video and that it was helpful for you! In general, community centers are good spots to meet people. When you say community center do you mean a big facility like a ymca or like a specific subdivisions community amenity center?

    The insurance issue is really bothering me and putting me on pause. There needs to be something done about that. It can really put people in a bad/dangerous position.
