My husband, children and I live in NJ and discovered this scenic road for the first time today while returning from a vacation in NH. We had gotten stuck in traffic on several interstate highways and were surprised at how a local state route could get us home so efficiently and safely after spending almost 10 hours on the road. This experience has taught us that it is important to be flexible when planning a road trip, because it is hard to predict or know what may happen.
