Hi Gary. Wonderful gospel talk highlighting your and my grandfather. Question: which aunt mentioned to you that “grandpa went a little crazy” after the death of grandma?
Probably not appropriate, I dont care. We need to stop this habit of smacking lips when giving heartfelt messages. Its a stumbling block...stop dropping it everywhere.
Thanks for the suggestion. I have been advised many times over the past fifty years of public speaking to correct the "tsk" sound when speaking, but it is embedded deep within me. I was incredibly nervous, and it did not even occur to me to change my delivery style. I will try to have the message better fixed in my mind the next time - if there is a next time. I don't speak very often to audiences as large as an Ensign College devotional; this is my first time ever using a teleprompter. I doubt there will be an occasion to use one in the future.
@garynelson8098 🙃 Nothing personal, we are all human. I just think if I get called out as inappropriate for passing gas in public, there are other idiosyncrasies that can be called out too. 🤪
