Better than the Warriors, only reason the Warriors crowds sounded so loud at Oracle was because the arena was smaller, and the seats hovered over the court, making it seem louder than it was. Kind of like the Seattle Seahawks stadium.
Crazy how despite Leon Powe’s and The Truth’s excellence, the Lakers still nearly came back down 20 in the 4th. The fact that it was on the road makes it more impressive.
I’m a Lakers fan, but first off I appreciate that a Celtics fan uploading this video did highlights of both teams. Second this was a great Celtics team I know this core only won one title, but that 2008 squad was one of the all time great championship teams. I remember this series well although Boston was the better team the Lakers still were competitive for five games despite missing their starting center Andrew Bynum. Then in Game 6 the Celtics just dominated the Lakers it was one of the worst defeats in Lakers and Finals history. Hard to believe it’s been nearly 15 years later since this series in 2008 the Celtics are a legitimate title contender in 2023 while the Lakers are going to have to fight to just get into the play in tournament and if they advance best case is we’re a 7th or 8th seed in all likelihood. I’d love to see these two historic franchises meet again in the Finals, but I don’t see it this season. Boston is the favorite along with Milwaukee in the East, but the Lakers will likely lose in the first round even if they get into the playoffs. Who knows perhaps they can make some big moves in the summer and get back into title contention. We shall see.
Bruh, Kobe is not getting double team at all, you all so delusional. If you talk about pick and roll screenplay that double team ball handler, that is just standard team play for some teams.
@@ArisCan-p7x what? Dude I didn't say the Lakers were better. I said they were good. And they obviously were good going 12-3 in the west on their way to the Finals in 2008. They were the better team in 2010 as they beat the Celtics that year.
This dude Phil Jackson really had the Lakers playing with 3-4 white boys on the court at the same time lol As Rondo said to Kobe, "You ain't got any niggas with you, you out there by yo self!"

@Truth Teller Lakers team was deep and talented in 2008-2010. Ask a Bronsexual lol, he would tell you. Plus the Lakers had the best player in the league at the time. Yep, 30 to 10 ft disparity and Powe had more free throw attempts than the whole lakers team with 13. He only had 21 for the whole series. The refs weren't going to let the Lakers win game 2.
Boston vs. Lakers game 2

What a crowd. The crowds in the '08 and '18 runs were pretty close to Warriors level
Gonna be the closest since 2010 now that they are gonna go to the finals

The crowd used to watch the game. They were not constantly being distracted by their phones. Good old normal days 😔
