This is why I don't stress about not getting all-gold end-game echo build in a game released less than a month ago. It's like wanting to have all warframe mods in a week . Settling for purple echoes early to mid game is fine. Great advice!
Im sowwy, I didnt expect senpai to be here than in Warframe, nice. Now I gotta follow since I recently done some echo farming (for havoc rover and got some decent crit from 1 echoes)

I know I need a decent Crit rate Dreamless (also Crit Damage if I C6 rover in the future) so what main sub stat do I go for on 3 star echoes? Was thinking energy regen or havoc damage with the usual att% crit/damage
Yeah ppl is freaking out way too early. Honestly they gotta focus on getting a 5* weapon for their main DPS cuz that actually does boost the dmg by a lot
Definitely, the weapon makes a much bigger immediate difference and is a lot more achievable than praying for good subs and burning severely limited resources rerolling and dumping echo exp
Put it this way: As long as there is *literally anything else* you could be spending stamina on to upgrade your characters, rng substats arent it. But yeah granted the comparison to 5* weapon is kinda scuffed.
@@Lichtonatus while it is true. However, given the current toxic environment where people just stack 6 buffs on the main dps, you only need to boost up the main in your team. A lot of others just use level 40 supp with trash weapons. So there really aren't many other things to spend the stamina on.
I mean sure, if you dont want to level/use your other characters, or want to hyperfocus on just one or two carries, you'll run out of alternate places to use stamina faster. That's up to the user; some people will run out of alternatives faster than others. But the point is the same.
Another thing I noticed today. Blue echos only require about 25% of the XP of gold, but provide 60% of the stats. Purple are like 80% of the xp, for 80% of the stats. Considering how difficult God rolls are to get, it may honestly make the most sense to level the lower rarity stuff to just get started, then go all in on gold layer. However, since most people rushes their data bank, or fed everything already, blues might not be available for many people. Otherwise, blue and purple stat resonator are just unused and worthless. So, im just lebeling purps and blues with correct mainstats to lvl 5, and testing their first stat for essentially free. That way, i can at least get my teams online to start.
Honestly, yea, but I wouldn't go for blues personally, just because of the subs limitation, but running purples is perfectly okay, because you gain access to them quite early, and drop more often, and as mentioned, are cheaper. Especially if your purples happen to get good substats, it can actually end up being better than a gold with bad subs.

Absolutely, it will literally take months to finish out builds. But that's ok, because it's not required to clear anything upcoming, so we're just here to chill and vibe, and sometimes it seems people forget that.
well im not sure how much it matter how much difference 18% crit damage on each substat, your title is misleading for the actual point you seem to try to make
The question pertains to the current state of people's accounts, because there are many people asking if it's worth to chase specific substats, rerolling echos with more tuners and echo exp. And the answer to that is that it's absolutely not worth it right now and doesn't change anything that matters in content relevant to our Union level range at the time of posting. Even today, it still isn't worth chasing specific substats yet.
I hope they do something similar to the memories system in PGR, have a way to reroll the substats without needing a new piece, even better if they add in a way to change the numbers of the substats like Nikke's.
That would be absolutely amazing and I would be fully for it. Anything to reduce the near infinite grind atm that requires both limited echo exp and tuners later onwards as well. The late game experience is...ok right now as actual playing, but is very frustrating from a farming standpoint, because the odds are so much worse for even getting mainstats compared to other gacha games due to no offsets allowed, and very few mainstats being desirable for DPS units, combined with still having to grind much more afterwards for tuners and echo exp in the future.
In Snowbreak substats don't require tuners, instead every "echo" (logistic) comes with 3 sub stats as you acquire them. And when maxed out, you unlock an additional substat, and this stat can can be re-rolled with a limited resource. And the substats you can roll, even have ranges from 3 - 10. I wouldn't say the logistics are as easily obtainable as echos are, but their system does seem to work much better, I haven't felt the need to grind for perfect logistics in that game. Some food for thought on the best approach. But I also wouldn't say that one Echo re-roll per day is that bad in terms of farming xp. The real killer is the tuners, which you also need.
Another thing to add is when u want to feed ur echo lvl another echo u pay the same amount of shells as if u did use the exp mats instead which is insane and stupid from the devs + the crazy amount of rng the echos have is just purely brutal, the 20% drop + to get the right sonata, than the main stat and than the right substats which are 5 more rng.
Yeah well its normal for content creators to min max everything. But don't forget that those monsters in red now have 30/40% resistance due to level gap. Later will be about one rotation them anyway. And they won't add stronger mobs soon .
Absolutely, which is why we might as well just chill and wait instead of worrying about subs. Subs might only matter when they add more technical fights that are harder to complete by just actual skill. At that point, substats will help a lot at just ending the fight monstrosity sooner. PGR currently is like this, where the hardest content is considered extremely hard even for whales, and gearing makes a big difference in trying to keep pushing, since it's easy to slip up in fights.
Can you clarify that sanhua support situation? Why is 5 echo buff enough for her and not upgrade her?or is that just a showcase that its enough to focus on main dps? Is the echo buff apply to the team?
Partly to showcase its enough to focus main dps for the time being. I was only using her to proc outro passive and echo set. She is a solid support worth building for subdps, but she already gives a lot of utility unbuilt. Moonlit buff applies only to next swap in, but so does her outro. So it just works together very easily no different than how’d you play Sanhua as a subdps to start with.
i've achieved perfect rotations as sanhua, yangyang with verina, jianxin and lingyang where i've almost zero downtime on concerto, :is this what you mean ''perfect rotation'' ? my rover dps main takes abit longer to charge, but does more damage. i've also played Trial version Jiyan in elusive tower, and is possible to have your ultimate uptime back faster then it's cooldown is over, i can do this as Sanhua within a rotation of my two other character's both perform their outro and im back on sanhua with ultimate charged ready but on cooldown 🤯 should have stayed on-field with someone else longer to increase dps. generally having almost no downtimes on everyone's abilities
I would say commit to the one you've spent the most on so far. If you haven't really invested, you can try Havoc. It's expensive to fully build both atm due to resource scarcity. Spectro Rover is SubDPS, CC with cleave. Havoc Rover is single target DPS with top-tier damage.

That's up to the user; some people will run out of alternatives faster than others. But the point is the same.
Unlocking substats is actually a smart game design. You can easily compare different echo sets without the variables of the substats.
It's handy for people to not worry earlier on, but when Tuners run out, it gets kind of messy because the Tuner farm is worse than the echo EXP farm.
