Wolverton links arms to show solidarity with Paris

People in Wolverton, Milton Keynes came together on Sunday November 15 to link arms and show solidarity with the people of Paris.
It was a response to a Facebook post by Steve Barby, inviting people to meet in The Square at 5.30pm and link arms to demonstrate that a diverse community can live and work together.
“This is not a political or religious statement - this is about human nature.
“It is a horrible situation, and this whole idea is to show the Wolverton community is standing together with the people of Paris. We want to show the people over there not to let the attacks change them.
“Unfortunately, this happens all over the world, and we have to all come together and not let it divide ourselves.
“We live in a very varied and diverse community in Wolverton, and we prove we can all live together. You can’t walk down the street here without saying hello to people of different races and backgrounds."
