    Dapat alam mo ang responsibility mo sa work mo kasi tama naman sila na lahat naman kayo may mga obligasyon sa family kaya dapat hindi puro ang gusto mo ang masunod and tandaan mo iba ng kultura nila sa trabaho kaya mag adjust ka din

      I disagree. The policy here if u are working abroad, you can avail a domestic leave anytime. domestic leave is "kids got sick or any issues that involve with family" like in her case na walang mag aalaga sa mga bata. Good on Jenny cz she informed them 2days b4. Dito nga sa amin, tatawag lang an hour or few hours b4 work that they cant come to work as no one will look after the kids or the kids got sick or hubby got sick. you cant control the situation. u are entitled for it. yung mag absent ka, ask them how many sick leave can u avail in a year? if u are sick, no one can questioned u about it because u are entitled for it!!

    Tama naman cla kahit anong company or anong country hindi pwede ikaw masunod kung ayaw mo or gusto mo schedule ng work .dapat din may ibibigay kang black and white naka file kasi yung words nababago pag may papers ka katibayan yun.

    maam jhen ganoon talaga pagnagwork ka, hindi puede na lahat nang gusto mo ikaw ang masunod. ako nga isang nurse wla hindi kami puede mag leave sa araw nang pasko at new year kung may mga event ang pamilya malayo pa sabihin mo sa manager or head mo. namatay ang father ko hindi agad agad ako nakauwi sa amin. dapat mag abide ka sa rules sa institution na pinagtrabahoan mo.     Ang situation mo, dapat hindi ka mag work maliliit pa ang mga bata at wala kang permanent na baby sitter, kaya hindi mo masisi ang employer mo, tama siya na if you need a time off you have to booked it a head of time

    Ganun talaga nag tatrabaho tayo sa company naka schedule ang lahat. Kung yung isang kasama mo mag extend para i cover ka mag babayad ang company ng OT pay. Iba naman ang policy ng call in sick or anak mo may sakit. Hindi ka nila pinag tutulungan may policy ang company kailangan sumunod. Kaya nagalit kasi nga saan siya kukuha ng papalit sa iyo kung last minute. Wag sasama ang loob mo sa supervisor isipin mo trabaho yan. Nag punta ka na sa work place mo bakit di ka nag fill up ng leave form hindi pwede yan mga verbal lang. Lesson learned. Mag hanap ka ng work na mag fit sa current situation mo.

    Ganyan tlga. It happened to me too. It's so hard pero look for another job. Sa ngaun mahirap tlga kasi you're kids are still young and nobody will look after them. Mag sideline k lng. Do cleaning jobs ung convenient sau. Tiis tiis lng kpg mlki na sila mgiging ok a g lht. Pray also.

Hindi mo ba inisip ns binigyan ka pa ng chance para mag isip kung gusto mo pa mag trabaho .pero nag decide ka mag quit .so ikaw ang talo dahil alam mo kasalanan mo yan.sa ugali mo kahit saan ka pumasok magtrabaho.paulit ulit mangyayari yan sayo .kung ako sayo wag ka ng mag work .hindi ikaw lang ang may pamilya lahat meron niyan .pero dinidivide nila ang oras nila .kaya dapat isipin mo mabuti bago ka mag decide

      Tama po kayo. Kasi iba sa pilipinas iba ang policy hindi naman pwede mag over staff ang company. Computed na nila yan kung ilan tao ang gagamitin at a certain schedule. Wag pa iiralin ang sama ng loob oag dating sa trabaho

    Ganyan talaga di pwde sayo ang masusunod kami nga kung personal na lakad advance ka mag sabi but emergency ok..peeo need ang proof ipakita hibdi basta basta..mag focus ka nalang sa mga anak mo if di pwede..may day care naman.or bigayan sa asawa mo..pwdeng panggabi kunin mo umaga ikaw maag look after din asawa mo sa gabi..kaso need mo mag aral mag drive..dami dito sa country kung saan ako same sau..ok naman..di pwdeng makadami ka ng company din stop..di ok sa record mo..

    Kung mg resign ka sa work mo at gnun ganun din ang ggwin mo kung sakaling mg work ka uli sa iba. Wag ka ng mg work kc .wala nmn mg aalaga ng mga ank mo pokus k nlng sa pamilya mo can afford nmn ata kau khit pareho kau mg asw wala work. Good luck

      Tama po kayo. Mabubuhay po sila dito sa UK kahit wala po silang trabaho pareho. May pera na tinatanggap ang 2 anak niya from Government, plus may work asawa niya. Kung pensioner na, may pension din buwan buwan plus yung sahod niya sa TH-cam, comparing sa buhay sa Pilipinas.

    Ms. Jenn, wag kang papayag na duduru-durin ka ng ibang lahi,dito sa US, pag dinuro ka, pwedeng ikaso yun. Binully ka kasi mabait ka. If nag paalam ka sa head mo at nag ok, siya ang mali.Next time, medyo tapangan mo rin ang loob mo, wag kang mag papaapak sa kanila. Nangyari din sa akin dito sa US, sinigawan ako ng cashier ng malaking bilihan dito, bago lang ako that time, parang 2 weeks pa lang ako noon, aba! akala nya di ako sasagot,.I told her, "why are you yelling at me?" sabay laki ng mata ko...ayun, di na siya naka sagot.matagal kong tinitigan siya, , di na makatingin..

    Kung permanent ka sa iyong trabaho, You are entittled ng 5.6weeks every year.
    Pag nag ask ka ng leave, hindi verbal, at nag file kang leave black & white and submitt sa head ng opisina ninyo , ay walang problema.
    Baka di alam ng mga ka team mo sa trabaho na absent ka.
    At kung permanent ka sa trabaho hindi ka nila basta basta puedeng tangalin sa trabaho mo.
    May labor contract kang pinirmahan. You are entittled ng 5 6 weeks holiday.

    Nasa UK din ako pag mybtrabaho ka hindi ka pwede basta nalang hindi papasok dahil lang wala magaalaga ng mag anak mo.dapat bago ka magaaply sa trabaho iniisip mo muna yan mg sistwasyon ng darating ang araw wala magaalaga ng mg anak mo.

    Hi there! You should have told your boss that there was only a misunderstanding. You already showed up in person to ask permission and she said OK. It was her who forgot that she said OK. From day1 if you are dedicating weekends for your kids, you just make it very clear. I guess you could not express yourself well in English so your boss can bully you.

    Your head of housekeeping sounded like she doesn't have a management skills. Why don't you take her up to management complaints. The way you tell the story parang Mali yata yung ginawa nya sa iyo. Hopefully makakuha ka ng steady job and great employer. Next time put it in writing when you request a day off para may paper trail ka.

    There are always 2 sides of the story.. as per your statement pumunta ka dun ng thursday pra magpaalam na di ka papasok ng saturday.. pero sabi mo na sinabi ng head "okay pero for approval".. means pending pa at di pa formally approved.. ang tanong po nagupdate ka ba ng friday? Have you contacted your manager to confirm? Kasi i think nag assume ka lng na since nagpaalam ka okay na sya.. my black and white dpt pag mga emergency leave na gnyan kahit saang company ka pa magwork.. we are employees and we are abide to folllow rules hindi ung magdecide kang di papasok di ka na papasok and magpapaalam lng thru verbal.. next time po sana pag magapply ka you have to double check their rules and regulations regarding emergency and absences.. i think ma ego ka rin po and too sensitive i guess.. dpt tapangan mo rin po loob mo.. respect and love your work kasi personal life and work life hiwalay tlg yan kahit saan ka pa mapadpad..

    It's their job to look for a replacement if u can't work due domestic problem. U are entitled for domestic leave. They bullied you. Make a reportable event and address it to the management

    Technically you at fault. It's an internal labor policy in a Healthcare service.
    The manager just applying the rule.
    There are certain considerations if the case is an emergency like sickness or death .
    Right to say all staff have same situations too. It's a matter of priorities that is beyond your control as an employee.
    Things happen sometimes because there is something much better. Just be positive and equipped yourself with some labor rights and policies .

    Jen bakit pumayag na duroduroin ka? Kahit manager pa yan walang karapatan na duroduroin ka. We are in EU don't let someone does it to you. Idk in UK if parents of under age kids are priority when it comes to absences. But here in the country where i reside they are priority specially holidays and summer break, they are the first one to choose their vacation. Kasi mas priority din nila ang mga bata dito. Next time if you find a new job tell them your situation. And next 1st day of the year note to your calendar all the holidays and summers so you can tell your boss ahead of time (3weeks-1 month before) if you can or can't work on that day or week. Family must be the priority. God bless!

    Sorry but I don't understand why you blame Jen, as far as I heard that she asked permission and it was approved by her supervisor according to Jen, I believe our job is important as our bread and butter but is it more important than leaving your children behind alone without anybody who will take care of them? Makayanan mo ba iwanan ang mga bata na walang bantay? But I wonder where is her husband? Diba naka balik na cya? Anyway, I know it was a difficult decision to quit her job but every mothers priority is her kids, especially they are still very young, dont you agree? Its just my opinion 😐
