The way you explained adulting I mean I got a completely new version of perspective. I hope you are settling in uni as well as in Bangalore fine. The place holds a huge part of my life too I know moving into a new city is quite overwhelming at first but they have a welcome similar to warm embrace too.

Hey!! the part where you talked about how despite reading and trying your best to comprehend the study info/material your not able to retain it, that might be a sign that the current study method and technique your using might not be the right one for you - I’ve personally been there before during my uni years and only after experimenting with different studying methods, techniques and tricks did I learn to make studying and retaining info easy for myself. What also further helps is realising that each class/or paper should be approached and studied differently (for eg: the studying method for a English Literature class might not be as effective for a STEM related class)
There are several resources on the internet and some dedicated youtube channels as well that could help you figure out the right studying method and technique for you, so I urge you to look into it. Additionally, your note taking skills also heavily affect your memory and retention so try working around that as well. I hope this helps!!

i'm so happy that you're in bengaluru, but i'd really love for you to try and learn kannada (karnataka's regional language) while you're here, because i feel like especially in south india, since bengaluru is such a cultural hub, people seem to disregard the regional language completely and choose not to learn it even after staying her for a good number of years.
