Oh man, I was waiting for this review. You got me all the more hyped for this figure once mine is shipped. Especially seeing the additional stuff for Sub-Zero! I knew about the arms but didn’t think we’d get anything past the first hands on those arms. I missed out on Goro, it was before I even knew about this line / company. I definitely didn’t want to pass on this guy, he looks awesome and I remember being frustrated as hell fighting him back in the MKII days. Can absolutely relate to the sinus infection, spring around here does the same to me and it makes me feel miserable. Hope you get well soon!
Got mine almost a week ago, but I haven't had any real time to play with him as I've been busy with grad school. Definitely can't wait to actually play with him some this week. Also, now that he's been released, I know King is probably less than a month away from release as well. I can't wait to see your review on him as well.
Awesome figure! though I wish Storm would add ankle swivel / boot swivel on more of their figures. For example Raiden didn't have any rotation so it restricted his posing unlike Heihachi. I'm really hoping the new Baki figure does!
Neat seems like they improved a lot from goro to him. But too expensive and my space is limited. So I'll need to make room. And get my debt in check before I can even buy more 😂.

Wow I didn't expect Kintaro to be so improved over Goro.. wish I could afford this one. I bet that spine piece is actually for the bottom of figure's torso, like he separated them at the middle.
What if the "Kintaro Merchandise" was a selling item for MK12 (and in purchasing a fully collectable MK12 figure of Kintaro and ultimate edition of game) it than makes NRS want to bring in Motaro & Onaga/Blaze (ultimate form) as a full boss, and have the -sub- boss as Moloch, Goro, Shinnok (as a un-grappable sub boss)
Great review D! I can't go all in with this line due to the costs but I'm really tempted to pick this up. I could easily see him look good going up against Mythic Legions, He-Man & others as well. I got the first releases of Scorpion, Sub-Zero & Reptile. Definitely wanna grab the OG's.
I hope Storm does Street Fighter’s Hugo…. Goro is 8’2 and Hugo is 7’10…. but I think Hugo would be sooo much larger being a Giant that literally dwarfs Zangief.
I do love their big characters - I wish they would stick with the 1:12 scale (like O.G. MK Ninjas) - they blended so well and makes that big character more intimidating.
HI. If you had to get just one, Kintaro or Goro from MKX, which would it be out of interest? I watch a lot of your reviews and I am totally blind, I have no eyesight. I think kintaro has cool armor on him which I could feel where as maybe goro is a bit more plane? but then I think Goro is a newer better figure? so hard :) what do you think?

man i would love to see someone with the skills and money to buy these figures and do a game using the same technique the original MK team used to capture the characters, but insted of actors, they use the figures, it would allow a lot of freedom in terms of the characters moves and poses, it would look so amazing, but it would be really expensive to make
If I get this figure, definitely not putting it on the top shelf. Not necessarily because of the figure falling and breaking. More of the figure falling and breaking my skull.

The o.g mk ninjas went really 1 12 scale..they were around 7 inches which would make them like 7 foot.
