Jonny, in the couple of days that I've known you for, you became a legend for me. Your content gives such specific and helpful advice. Unfortunately, my English teacher has always given the stark opposite of this advice such as to never memorise an essay. He never taught me how to prepare for an essay and always told me that if read a lot, I would do well. So I severely underestimated the amount of preparation that actually goes into English and only really got to prepare properly the night before, when I found your channel. So my exams didn't go well at all but they would have gone much worse if it wasn't for you. So thank you. With the amount of passion you display in these videos, I'm sure your business will bloom into something even more spectacular.
you guys have been absolute legends!! doing English has been made significantly less scary and easier to understand bc of your videos - thanks so much! :))
@@lenamorris1909 if you've watched enough of Ignite HSC's content then I'd understand why you'd think that question was nice to work with. satisfyingly broad and malleable question, you can reframe it in any way you'd like with room for nuance. let's hope something like that pops up in my own paper once I do it in 2 years time :P hope you (and any other yr 12s reading this) did well!
Just want to make sure, how would you adapt the linking statement? With this scenario in mind, do I discuss what message my author would want to communicate with the myself and individuals while intricating the value love with concepts I have on the para to properly engage the questions
Quick question - if the common module essay question tomorrow is centred around one central technique - does my evidence have to be only using that one technique? Thanks so much!
Thank you for this video! Just a question: would the majority of your evidence remain the same from your exemplar response, and the intro, topic sentences, links, and conclusion change to suit the question?
Most of your actual evidence will be the same, however the way you EXPLAIN the evidence (i.e. the "effect" part of the analysis) should adapt to the question if possible, although this doesn't need to be anything too extreme (ideally just incorporate at least one key term of the question into each sentence).
Good luck everyone, thanks for being part of the community. I believe in you

@@finnmacmillan5768 did you get how does the text invite responders to challengers they face? I can’t fully remember it. (I do standard btw)
@@jacoubelachkar_ tbh that question was pretty simple in terms of 1984, not sure about your text though.

how should you address a question of how the composer uses form to explore [x], i.e how to you talk about it in the body paragraphs
Hey johnny, even after all you've provided me. I still failed ...
