Marco Santana so we have a weeaboo here. I will say Orochi is the tough hero to beat when players are new. Really just spam your dash and guardbreak for 2 free upper lights. Against expierenced players i can see Orochi being not weak, but having to play like he is supposed to, which is a counter attacker. I'd recommend going against a lvl 3 bot until you get defelct, parry, and counter guard break down.
While I would recommend waiting until AT LEAST rep 3 for heroics, you can skip literally 100% of the cost of leveling from 13 to 18 by getting more rep. At rep 4, the 2 heroics you get from premiums will always be 14, at rep 5 they will always be 15. So, just save up all your free crates and steel until rep 8 (it's a long time, I know.) and you will have very, very little gear levelling to do. Still have to pay for any appearance swaps, though.
The star next to the name of a piece of legendary gear is telling you that you have one of six pieces to a legendary set. I believe there is only one legendary set with every character. And they usually provide a very detailed engraving, and usually are gold.

Bear in mind we have something like 30 Reputation levels to gain on a character and I think it's insane that the best items can be attained 10% into your journey. Mythic items could easily boost gear further by maybe raising the lowest stat slightly too (nothing too OP) but I'd rather my guy not be in purples at end game when yellows exist. Surely they could make Level 25 the max.

Arena Games UK If you remember to get champion status and end up in a dominion match (with3 people who also have CS) vs AI, you can rank up slightly more quickly. Especially if you do the orders. It's taking a long time to go from level 2 to 3, though. 😐

the unique item with a star is set item, not unique looking, it is guimond shaft, if you get guimong axe, guimond chest, tl dr star means set item, a item of an owner, for example "stefan sword" "stefan shaft" "stefan blade" ...

Let me save everyone some time, you dont use steel until rep 8, thats when you start getting good gear. You don't upgrade until then either. Nor change your look. Anything below rep 8 should just remain the same. Just use gear you find, and of course the stats matter.

What I did and thought was pretty good was I didnt buy a single pack until I was rep 1. Once I got that i bought packs util i got a full set of rare gear. Now im rep 2 and I havnt opened a single pack since i got my rare gear. Im saving my steal and waiting until i get to rep 3 so i can start getting heroic gear. It works pretty well in my opinion. atleast it has so far
As of right now, these are the unlocks: Rep 0 = Common Rep 1 = Common and Rare Rep 2 = Only Rare Rep 3 = Rare and Heroic Rep 4 = Only Heroic Rep 5 = Heroic and Epic Rep 6 = Only Epic Rep 7-9 = Epic and Legendary Rep 10 = Only Legendary (I know this because I am rep 15 with warden, my GT is BuffRock if you wanna duel)

If you haven't touched the story mode, you can get free scavenger crates by completing missions, and finding the breakables/observables.

If you wait till Reputation 5 you'll be getting heroic gear at level 15 fairly often. Less steel to use on upgrading, if you choose to wait.

Wooley The heroics with stars are commonly referred to as legendarys. There are only 3 legendary weapon parts per character. No armor.

You will continue to get Heroic items up to lvl 15 (out of crates, off the battlefield), then you cant start upgrading to save a lil.
