Filmmaker-actor-producer Rakesh Roshan took the mantle with The Roshans documentary to bring his family's legacy to the world. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, he, along with series director Shashi Ranjan spoke at length why and how did they zero on the idea, the need to tell cinematic stories to the younger generation and poor documentation of industry legends. Rakesh spoke about his hesitation to not make the docu a pom pom show, why certain actors didn't appear in the series and the infamous Shah Rukh Khan - Salman Khan's Karan Arjun story. Further in conversation with host Ankita Bhalla, Shashi expresses regret of not being able to document late Lata Mangeshkar's life, the attack on Saif Ali Khan and how he shot SRK's apology to Rakesh Roshan on camera.
