Hammer is definitely not low tier but S tier and absolute winner. It has Highest DPS in the game. There is two options how to do it: 1. Let attack charge (hold attack) into time it is being drawn and then release, dont wait to full charge but immediatelly as it goes to charging state, release it. It does insane damage, like 3-4x than basic attack. 2. TL:DR is that this person is clueless. Dual blades are a noob stomper weapon. Easiest weapon in the game to parry. Blade/shield and spear/shield are S tier. Great bow is A tier. Hammer is B tier. Everything else is useless.
While i agree dual blades are easy to parry, They're best dps for sure, bleeds with poison rekt mid-late game. Great sword should be S tier, because of the slow/stagger effect, with a duo or group it becomes a monster support weapon to slow an enemy
