      Dope video! Is it the same process to bring the samples back onto the mpc after you finish chopping it up on your computer?

    So you answered part of my question, thank you for that. I don't necessarily have to use the computer for my samples? I'm not a computer geek and I'm currently using a Zoom Sampltrak and I chop up my samples right on that.

    • @jaspermusic2010
      @jaspermusic2010  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes that correct you can chop samples all on the MPC 500 but it takes a long time

    Is that an mpc 500 beat playing in the background?

    • @jaspermusic2010
      @jaspermusic2010  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      All the samples in that beat were recorded on the MPC 500 that you’re looking at in the video. All from vinyl. Two sets of drum sounds and two sets of melody samples. Using the exact method shown in the video.

    Hi! Saw your comment on reddit about how to sample from iphone. But wonder if it's possible to do so? And will this trick to sample be able to apply on sampling directly from an iphone? Thanks!

    • @jaspermusic2010
      @jaspermusic2010  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey thank you for connecting on here! Yes you can sample directly from the headphone output on you iPhone or ipad. Ive done it before when sampling netflix movies onto the MPC500.

      well, maybe like a intro tutorial about getting into these kind of machines (what are these considered btw? drum kits? synthesizers?)
      i know NOTHING about this shit lol, SUPER-beginner. but the mpc500 appealed to me the most cuz i seen peeps make sick ass beats with it, AND its portable.

    Are you able to record a song from your computer directly into the MPC?

    • @jaspermusic2010
      @jaspermusic2010  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yes you are able to do that but two ways, either by running an audio cord(s) from your computer to the mic inputs or you can drag and drop a file from your computer onto the mpc500 when it is hooked up via usb

    can i record samples from my phone?

    • @jaspermusic2010
      @jaspermusic2010  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you just need the right cords. You need a 1/8 inch jack coming out of your phone and then convert that to a 1/4 inch jack going into the MPC.
