    This oil pressure sensor will make you think you have a fuel pump problem as well which you have one in the tank and a high pressure fuel pump on the side of cylinder head. Will let car run may shut down then start later when in warm state then act up .

Also, oil pump pressure solenoid, What is it? where is it? Google is not that good with pictures of the item, all seem very generic. Thanks!

    • @Tkjawa
      @Tkjawa 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bianca Navarrete yes it can contribute to that, but if this is bad in your car, a check engine light would be on and it would indicate that. Good luck

      It didn't cause any noticeable issues with the car but as @TheBombDotCom stated it can lead to those issues. Also, the issue was the oil pump pressure solenoid. They repair shop stated that they checked the oil pressure switch for this issue but it was good. Fixed now though. The cost of repair was $80.,

    What if my clip broke just like yours did and I can’t figure out how to get it off. I’ve tried everything and the clip won’t come off. The entire white piece broke and I’m not sure what to press down and pull out. Am I screwed?

    • @hamldna
      @hamldna  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. It'll still lock in. The white clip is so it won't be taken off accidentally. It's a safety clip. I wound up breaking one when changing the camshaft position solenoid. It'll should still clip on to the solenoid.
