Biggest obstacle in relation with God | Professor Ahmad Rafique Akhtar

As the title of this video suggests, this video in the Urdu language is about the obstacles Human faces when wanting to get closer to God, that mighty obstacle is the Self (also translated as Ego or psyche), Mystic Teacher Professor Ahmad Rafique Akhtar explains the complexity of the psychology of human self, Professor explains that human have been living with animals for millions of years before they became civilized, and that time spent with animals has made them think, behave, and act like animals, this is the reason human self's lowest form is called animalistic self. Now Allah says in Quran "(79:40) But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires" according to this Aayat one has to confront his NAFS (self) if he fears his God.
as Prophet Jesus (PBUH) said know thy self and you shell know thy God. Companion of the Prophet of Islam Ali R.A said he who knows his self, knows his God. so knowing yourself is the key to knowing God. we must change our basic behavior, we must change this "why me?" mindset...
