That bag has been to London, Paris, Milan, just everywhere with me. It fits so much! 4. Evening - My gucci Marmont chain wallet in boac. OR my Prada saffiano small tote. Both are dressy for evening 5. day to night - LV Pochette Metis in reverse monogram - for day it fits all essentials and at night i remove the cross body strap and carry it had held. the black top handle is perfect for evening 6. Minimal - Any of my 4 LV pochette accessories. Add a cross body strap and they are good to go! I just love this tag and enjoy watching everyone picks. Great video Mel!

Casual: chanel cf small black (if I'm casual, I like my bag to be formal to elevate the look) ; work: kelly 28 gold; travel: neverfull, lindy 26, some backpack, chanel mini rectangular; evening: dior woc in black patent leather; day to night: celine triomphe shoulder bag in black, chanel black cf; minimalistic: celine triomphe. Conclusion? I love all my bags, including the wonderful ysl ones. But just get a chanel cf, a kelly or Birkin, a neverfull, a dior wallet on chain, a neverfull, and you'll be good for all occasions. I could easily use a chanel black cf for all these occasions.

As a student and no social connection life (living alone but depend on parents), just two types of bags: going out to find a place reading book, and going to school. Going to school needs normal and cheap bags that cost under $100 (not leather), I don’t like backpack but in this case I have more backpack options. Going out to cafe or a place to read book, so at least it should fit a kindle. In some cases, going out in winter or rain will need a space for my coat or gloves, scarves or rain coat. What I suggest is kanken crossbody bag, muji backpack, mz Wallace backpack, mz Wallace satchel, longchamp s size, LV Alma pm, Burberry dk88 medium size, Prada luxe tote, Celine classic box bag, Chanel classic medium bag. In some cases when I want minimal size, I prefer a Mark Cross box bag.

The choices for the categories are really hard because I like to change bags from winter to summer. I think you can't go wrong with black for winter but I love pops of colour in summer, so I don't think I could choose one bag for each category. Just too hard.

Hey Mel, loved this! 💕Just thought that it might be helpful to know that if you need to shorten the chain on your Chanel mini you can get a chain shortening clip from the boutique. My SA at Chaddy has given them to me in the past when I purchased a rect mini. Pretty much has the same effect as tying a ribbon but is just a little neater inside the bag!😁

So I would like to know if you think a small or medium flap is a better choice for this style of dressing in spite of the big price difference between those and the mini and seeing as they fit almost the same amount. I've heard people say Melbourne is similar to New York, while Sydney is Australia's L.A.? A friend of mine also said she prefers living in Melbourne while Sydney is more of a vacation spot since it doesn't offer much if you do not live close to a beach.... I would really love your opinion since I am thinking of moving to Australia soon and I absolutely love your videos and really respect your opinion... :) xxx
Mel!!!! My mom has an Antigona that wouldn't have the strap detachable but i figured out that on the very base of the strap on each side there was a screw which i unscrewed and it removed the strap:) . hope you find this useful

Mel!!!! My mom has an Antigona that wouldn't have the strap detachable but i figured out that on the very base of the strap on each side there was a screw which i unscrewed and it removed the strap:) . hope you find this useful

When you mentioned that your hubby picked another bag for the tag, I can't help but wonder if you would do a part2, whereby you show the bags your hubby picked/observed/has the impression that you would wear for the 6 occasions. I think that would be fun. Sometime we gals have too many bags, we might think too much if you understand what I mean ?

Such an interesting tag Mel. Love your choices. My casual bag is the Sophie Hulme nelson bucket bag, it is also very durable. The other ones I find hard to decide right on the spot, I also rotate my bag a lot 😄 the medium kan I and Dolce&Gabanna's miss Sicily is probably two good choices for me to go from day to night and Chanel's Gabrielle bag is not bad for traveling 😊
