The EBYTE RTU I/O Module with model number MA01-AACX2240 with its 2 analog inputs, 2 digital inputs, and 4 digital outputs was connected through Modbus RTU RS485 to the free version of VTScada, Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA), software to demonstrate the control of an industrial fan. The industrial fan control is done with a contactor connected to the digital output of the module, which then provides status feedback to the module's digital input. A 0-to-100 degrees Celsius, 4-20 mA temperature transmitter was connected to the module's analog input to measure possible industrial fan bearing, motor winding, or enclosure temperatures. The EBYTE RTU I/O Module is then connected to a computer that has the VTScada software installed with a USB-to-RS485 converter module for Modbus RTU communication.

Excellent video, do you think there is a way to connect the module via rs485 to a Red Lion HMI? I am interested in buying the module but I already have the HMI.
I hope you can bring more videos about the device since the information is scarce.

I don't have this HMI. I only currently have the OP320 HMI which supports RS485 Modbus RTU. Kindly check the Red Lion HMI user manual for Modbus RTU support. If it does, then you can connect the Red Lion HMI to the module using the universal Modbus addresses.
