I am a Christian stuck in sin and who's harder on me than anyone I know, even my abusive father. I am a husband going through dissolution after 4 hard years of watching my wife become shattered as cancer took our son, my mother-in-law, father-in-law, and grandmother in-law in just a span of 12 months. That was all just a couple of years ago.. today I am living the result of some poor choices that both my wife and I have made and now its led to our separation and seemingly soon divorce. I'm so broken. I have managed to cling to my faith through this all sometimes by a thread. Over the course of the last few weeks God has been putting Roman's 8:28 in my path everywhere from my workplace to my devotional and friends. Even through the Netflix series "Manifest" So of course my study of it has led me here.. This message was for me in this time as I continue to revisit the battle of identity crisis and the shame of sexual sin in the wake of death and heartbreak.
