Maybe one Sunday you could show people that do not have an understanding of Kelly or NADA (JD Powers ?) used boat values or even how to find the value using these informational products.
Don’t mind getting an inexpensive but nice and reliable 2008 or older wakeboard boat. Don’t mind dropping 6 grand on a nice Rockford Fosgate audio system down the road.
Bayliner 185xt with a 4.3 v6 200hp is a great option. You can pick up one fairly cheap and add a perfect pass system for 2-3 grand. I’m planning on adding it to my 175xt along with a new speaker system in the future. One to keep an eye on
No, the tab system if raised up flush with the hull of the boat should have little to no impact on your top end speed. But, when deployed should increase the size of the wake.
Would it be possible to get your opinion on the best wake surfing boat from the eras you indicated in the video? Specifically what is your recommendation from the 2008-older period and the 2012-2009? Great information!

Just came across your videos, thank you for the info! Have any suggestions for a wake surf boat under 40K right now?

I have a bayliner 175xt. It’s the 175 with the wakeboard package. What’s the best way I can improve my wake without loss of performance?
What exactly do you mean by improve your wake?
@@BoatBuyersSecretWeapon so if i install a trim tab system will it sink the back more and create a higher wake but slow the boat down at top speeds?

It’s more about the specific boat and how it’s been cared for although older centurions probably have the best wake out of the box in those years
@@BoatBuyersSecretWeapon Thank you for the reply! Excellent channel and content. Appreciate all the great info
I wonder if the wake surf craze will die off once jets inevitably take over the drivetrain
I want to know what this guy is smoking!
Not likely, the wake produced by a jet drives (and I/O's and OB's) are malformed and sloppy. There's a reason serious tow boats are direct or V-drive.
