I picked up a DuPage trading T44 walnut, according to their website it's a new production copy of a design that did not incorporate the "shoulder assist" found in later production stocks. It looks amazing and the fit is great. I picked up a fiberglass GI handguard and I'm trying to decide whether to do a combination scout cut/slotted or scout/round drilled. At $14 I'm not going to cry if I screw it up.
Looking to buy an M1A loaded....takes MONTHS to order, local shop has one with synthetic stock. I want a walnut stock, been hemming about buying the rifle in stock locally and replacing the stock. Appreciate the video...

Walnut, or Birch is readily available at my local gun shows.
Nice USGI stock. I don't like the factory stocks. Too oversized.
