That opening riff hits you like a slap in the face, I really hope we get plenty more of Myles and Mark trading riffs and solos in the rest of the album! It certainly all sounds very epic so far, reminiscent of Fortress but with with some of that "big sound" that featured in Walk The Sky. Excited!
That main riff is so sick and Myles voice is so good on these last two tracks. From my perspective, it's pretty clearly about recent political events but the lyrics are always just made ambiguous enough so that you won't be able to definitively tie the song to a specific time/event. Myles always say that he doesn't like to do this because it can make older songs sound dated or irrelevant whereas keeping things lyrically a bit more open means that a listener can make other comparisons. Saying that, I think this is one of the most pointedly political songs they have made without being overt.
