I can definitely respect them for trying harder than most Christian bands. Singing about black metal appropriate horror and monsters, but killing them instead of venerating them. At the end of the day its all about glorious battle. Lots, and lots, of Christian bands are just generic praise music with some pretentious gloss and an extreme metal sound.
Spectral_Insomnia Thanks. Didnt think that first, stroke me as Italien or something else from South Eastern Europe. I love Mystifer from Brazil. Their first album is so obscure with the changing vocals and special guitars and classical harsh unpolised keys! This is tiny more tame I would say?
Mystifier is an excellent band. Very much a different style than Nocturnal Freeze. Mystifier still has more of an old school death metal sound. Nocturnal Freeze may sound tame by comparison because there's not too much aggression and violence. They are clearly influenced by the atmospheric style of Cradle of Filth. \,,/
Spectral_Insomnia I agree. I THINK that Nocturnal Freeze first of all reminded of of the Italien Atmospheric band called Evol. They made that Cd back in the 90s. what was it called? That pink/Blue cover. HAVING a half naked girl on the cover. They had some resemblance to their style, It might just be me. But there is something in relation here. even though they are very different bands and have individuality. And atleast they dont have that stupid blank Italien female voice like Evol has. Mystifier was great on their first Cd with blue cover with the megalong title. THEN i bought their second CD and thought hmmm. They lost a lot on that one. Some numbers were good but they lost something, What is funny is that people seem very extreme in South America with Metal from the North where im from in Scandinavia. But people up here use to be extreme in early 90s and even in 2000s. But now they are so insolvent somehow and dont make up a good army in any way? It seems people of Mexico and Brazil and whatnot are more hardcore. That is abit absurd to me? Peple down there are ready to whack and such, They have turned total geeks up here:)
I believe the album is called "Dreamquest"? I had to search for it, I have never heard Evol's music before. It's very unique! I will say that there is some gothic/dark romance type stuff happening with some of these European bands. I enjoy it. It's very fantasy-like music. It's the impression I get. I understand what you are saying about the difference between music from the North and music from Latin American countries. The extreme style, the violence, it's all from the lifestyles. There is so much death and corruption in a lot of the Southern countries I think the music reflects all of that trouble. There are extreme bands in the North as well, no place is safe from violence. But the countries in the North have such beautiful landscapes and cold weather you can be easily inspired by that. You are in Scandinavia, I wish I could be there and not here in Southern California. Our views on many things can be different simply because we live in different environments and I think that explains a lot when it comes to music. Don't you think?
I couldn't listen to any of the album beyond "Carpathian Forest Witch," which is very obviously a plagiarism of COF's "Thirteen Autumns and a Widow." They don't even attempt to disguise it. Whilst perusing the additional song titles, I noticed "Hosannas in Extremis," which comes from COF's V Empire album. Very lacklustre attempt at plagiarising COF.
What can you expect in a limited genre like all rock. If you want originality check out classical music starting around 1100 AD. Rautavaara is a good place to start if you think about originality. I hope you can see what I mean.

Are you seriously suggesting that a band would compose and decently record an entire album of original songs to "make fun of" another band. Because, No. That would be done in a single song, perhaps with a satirical video. This just happens to be in the same (sub)genre. Get used to it. I don't understand why some people think 500 In Flames or Metallica influenced bands is perfectly fine, but if anyone does what CoF did, ITS A PARODY! Fucking please. Its a genre now. And I happen to adore it for its beauty and dark atmosphere. By your logic, any horror movie after /the first horror movie ever/ is a ripoff or parody if not done well? Well HOLY SHIT, I guess every single work of art these days is just god damned mindless satire, huh. Great perspective to have, fucking wow.
This band is just a pathetic CoF rip-off . They don't even try. Just plain copy/paste of riffs and vocals from Cruelty and the beast and such. What a shame. Haven't you ever heard about "Thou shalt not steal" ? ;)
Angelo Nicci: sei italiano, come me? ti piace questa band :) ? 666FrankBooth666: maybe this band is christian? :P well, I love their music too, even if christian ideas are not suited with this kind of music...
Okay...after 11 minutes in I could understand ONE lyric. "St John". So I guess you were right after all!!! About the "Christian" lyrics, if saying "St John" makes it a Christian lyric that is.
You are right in a way. Think of all the drug OD's in the last fifty years. All those people had to guide them was rock. Maybe a few didn't but not many.
@@magmasunburst9331 you are very wrong... Most of my old friends that have died of overdose were hip hop fans. But that's beside the point. Music preference has virtually nothing to do with addiction. Anyone can become addicted....
Coisa boa. Essa obra prima é brasileira❤🇧🇷
The song that starts at 25:30 sounds almost identical to Cradle of Filth’s Bathory Aria.
Toda banda en todo el mundo se influencian
Um excelente trabalho...mais uma banda nacional foda....
Nice album artwork!
This is excellent! Thank you to the band & uploader.

Not sure about plagiarism. But bands often sing the songs of other bands. And often include their version in their albums.

Christian fillth
They seem to be influenced by Cradle of Filth, JUST a bit. Despite the ridiculousness of the christian lyrics, it's good music.
And despite that album cover.
The album cover is lame, but there's nothing wrong with Christian lyrics.
Making fun of cradle of filth hardcore

relgion and rock do not mix its lucifers music not churchlurchers fodders
I guess all the pagan bands should just fuck off then. And the Theistic Satanists as well come to think of it.
"religion and rock don't mix" You sound like a fucking fundamentalist christian preacher.

Yeah, reality check....God created music! He gives people their talents and abilities! Without Him we are dust.
