I believe there is a shrine to Blessed Solanus Casey which may be the first contender in my search since heading to Alabama is not in my foreseeable future. I couldn’t click on this fast enough when I saw you were giving a tour of Mother Angelica’s Shrine! In one of her books she describes when she was looking to build and her expertise with the Child Jesus during this time. I didn’t know there was so much to see. I really enjoyed the John Paul Eucharistic center. It’s be very cool to see that more in depth. Thanks so much for sharing these travels and tours with us. This was wonderful!
It is such an incredible place! So many wonderful things to see and do; we were there for 4 hours and could have stayed much longer (lol, now we understand why there were picnic tables available; you could spend a whole day there). We would love to go back. Mother Angelica was an amazing woman- what vision she had! Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Amazing. I definitely need to visit someday if I can (mostly homebound). I probably wouldn't have become Catholic 11 years ago if it weren't for Mother Angelica and EWTN. Never heard of the the Stations of the Holy Eucharist, seems interesting! I love thinking about Jesus in Bethlehem and its meaning "House of Bread."
I've always wanted to visit The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament. I now live in the west coast, but many years ago I lived in Louisiana and I did a retreat with Mother Angelica at Our Lady of the Angels Monastery in Irondale that was before the shine in Hanceville was build.
I'm not Catholic but I have been totally fascinated with Mother Angelica lately. I've been reading about her and listening to her live talks. She's was, and continues to be, a very impressive woman!

Hello- we stayed in a town about 2 hours north of the Shrine and just drove down to it, but there are guest houses/cottages there you can rent that looked very nice. We met a couple that day staying in one, and they were pleased with it. That is what we will do the next time we go. Enjoy your visit- it is absolutely beautiful!
