Been so long since my mau rakau days, I've spent so much time on complex techniques from alot of styles that I've forgotten half of this simple demonstration

I instantly fell in love with the taiaha the first time I saw one. I am currently on a weapon making journey and have made shillelagh's ,both the cudgel and walking stick type. Native Canadian war clubs and even a patu, but, the one time I attempted a taiaha it came out looking like a poor man's imitation. I am simply not skilled enough to build one yet. However, I am patient ,and I believe when God knows I am able , He will let me know.
