I love that you are leaving some natural Stone with lime plaster visible. It's so pretty. Between LaLande and your home, I don't know how you do it. You are a hard-working person, as is Analise. I love your boys, and all your pets and critters! 🙏🏻💗⚜️❣️⚜️💗🙏🏻
I have just found your vlogs having been watching others from France since the summer. I like what I have seen so far and am looking forward to catching up over the coming weeks. Good luck to you all.
@@escapetoruralfrance ~ don't wish the time away Dan, it goes too quickly as it is. Know it is a reference: ) ... one day , without you and your lovely wife knowing it the children are all grown up!!! Enjoy every moment, as it looks like you do. All best wishes in all your endeavours, greetings from England ~
Dan you and your wife are such lovely people! I am very impressed with both of your parenting! SO patient. Those boys are very blessed. You are two wonderful humans! I LOVE this vlog! Thank you for sharing your life. Always love your wife and treasure her. She is beautiful and such a gem! Those boys will grow up to be great men....like their father!
Oh I am sooo glad I found you both/all! You are taking me back down memory lane with living rough whilst building and starting from scratch with two little boys!! YES!!
I love that Dan and Annalise don't let the children be any discomfort to them when they are working on projects. Cool parenting. Lots of love there !!!
I just discovered this channel. Oh my! I will be binge watching it for the next few days. From this retired teacher/grandma, I love watching y’all work, live and play.
I’ve come back to the beginning of your journey from the château daily vlogs. It’s wonderful to see where you and your beautiful family began. My parents were Dan and Anneliese. 🤗
Jack is so darned cute, from his kissing mommy to helping daddy. The window needs just a touch more foam? Maybe you should have let Jack do it? lol sorry I had to say it. The little house is so sweet like a honeymoon cottage. I can't wait for you next post. bye all
💖👑👑💖x you have such a beautiful wife and sons .please everyone dont forget to watch the advertisement and share the channel plus tell all your friends about this adorable family its going to be an amazing journey. Thank you for allowing us to share in your journey 💖👑👑💖xxxxx
Wow, your kids are certainly lucky to have such lovely parents, so patient and kind - - what a great place to grow up. I'm looking forward to watching your adventures.
I think I’ve seen all of your vlogs now, and I must say, your boys are just the cutest little guys ever! I love how Jack likes to do whatever his daddy does. 💕
Hi, I'm coming from Stephanie's vlog too. Your videos remind me a lot of my home, when my parents build our house and everything was a mess. I loved every minute when I could "help" my Dad building stuff and transforming the land into a garden. I was 3 1/2 years old and so proud pushing my little wheelbarrow. Growing up with a father like that gave me so much knowledge, strength and confidence. I am sure your boys will get that too. These kind of memories and experiences will carry them through life.
So true. I'm a girl and my father was so handy with building all sorts of things. I learnt how to mix cement and build walls from helping him and went on to become an architectural technician when I left school and had a career working for architects in London. There were not many females in construction in those days unlike now.
Hello Dan and family, loved your Vlog. My husband and I started in much the same way as you, building whilst babies were being born, no water and building bit by bit when money was available. No internet or TH-cam back then. We lived in remote outback Australia. Life was good, full of dreams and always chores and projects. We learnt how to be resourceful. Years later we are still at it. We are building a new house now after buying 140 acres of cow paddock - not living there yet, Covid put the brakes on hard however we will be ready to proceed and finish the shed/barn and move up there when we are out of Lockdown. Your family is adorable. Keep on Vlogging. Thank you for sharing your home and family. Kind regards.
Dad’s little helper/apprentice, gorgeous! Soon he will be a proficient little builder. The best way of learning is being hands on at a very young age. Keep the vlogs coming. Love watching your young family making things happen.
Wow what a lovely video!! Reminded me so much of my childhood watching my parents renovate our family home! Loving the vlogs! Looking forward to the next one ! X
Renovation life! It's not for everyone but eventually rewarding. Your son is very observant and he's learning so much from you both! Can't wait to see more. 😉
Hi Dan, great to see you have your own vlog👍🏻😁. You are one hardworking guy‼️ lots of work for you to do and many things to accomplish 😊 I look forward to it all😁👏🏻👏🏻
Looking forward to following along on your journey! Love those beautiful fluffy-bum chickens, the handsome rooster and the dogs... this is a young boy's paradise!
I love your little “farm chateau”. I lived in an old tractor storage shed for 4 years once and my shower was very similar. Those were fun times tho. I’m really enjoying your channel. Looking forward to more videos.
Me too except it was a corner of the shearing shed and an old ‘ hot head ‘ shower in rural south west Australia near Albany. PS. Your doggies are gorgeous 🧡
Ah! The good life! It is so enjoyable watching the progress of a family whose hard work and determination will surely bring plenty of rewards. Thank you for sharing.
Enjoyed watching you build with your son. It reminds me of when my husband and I built our A-frame cabin when our boys were little. It takes a little longer but it was so much fun having them be part of the experience. Now they are young men with great memories and skills. Thumbs up on your new vlog.
Treasure every second you two. They grow up so darn fast. We went through a home reno with our son and he learned so much. It’s a blessing that you two little helpers will have the same experience.
Fun to see the progress! Don't forget to link your Instagram and Patreon, if you have one, in the description box! :) I'm sure there's plenty of people who would love to help you out :) would be lovely if you did a Q&A eventually as well :)
Came over from The Chateau Diaries. Your vlog looks like it will be interesting and fun. Would love more background on why you left England, what jobs and family you left and how you found your house. Wishing you much success! You have a beautiful wife and boys. Would love to see more of your wife and her daily routines in the old house.
I came from Stephanies channel as well! Would love to hear how you ended up in France and a tour of your home and property! Loved the videos you have so far. Great job. Hello from Canada 🇨🇦
You’ve a sweet family and you’re a good papa, teaching your boy as you go along with the everyday. He will always admire you because of your attention to him. Your wife seems like a joyful lady and so positive. Take care! Mary
This is fascinating Annalise and Dan. I am impressed with your French at the quarry, you are obviously learning as you go. You are being fine examples for your children. I will keep following and watching. I think you need some miniature goats.
I'm going to love watching the progress of your home. Would love a tour and a background about how you came to live in France. Lovely family and I can only understand how hard it must be to get anything done with 2 little ones running around!
Great to watch another renovation and it's farm this time! Awesome to see your beautiful and lovely family. All the best from the other side of the world!
Appreciate you inviting Us into your family life and Restoration of your Farm House. Difficulties with warm water at times brought back a Hurricane survival tip I've used..... large plastic bags( construction sz.,etc.) filled with water, sealed, placed in sun provide warm water when needed. Looking forward to more Restoration and your dear Boys.
Ok those boys are just so adorable, they will have such a great work ethics! One day soon both will be such big helpers to Dad. Way to go Dan the Gardner. What a lovely family!
I adore the youngest members of your crew. You're so blessed that Dan is handy in many different areas because it makes your dream much more attainable than waiting till you can afford to pay others to do your projects.
The work is manually hard so one needs the tools to speed up the progress. The little ones seem to enjoy working with dad. They are so cute.
Omg that little boy is sooo cute. I’m a pediatric nurse so a pushover when it comes to kids. The windows are beautiful. Well done.
Hi Dan and Annelise. I am now just going way back and watching some old vlogs! So sweet!
