- Grab a page from an old book (these were going to bee thrown away by the library), clear embossing ink & powder, and some gelatos (or gel sticks, watersoluble crayons or pastels) and let's make a quick and easy card! I loved all the techniques you combined to get this amazing look. You may have been the first to come up with "faux-lato," but I also saw another first for me--putting embossing powder in a bottle you can "squirt" out. What a great, efficient technique. Thanks, as always, Lindsay, for your helpful videos and enthusiasm.
Wow, same stamp and so many different techniques. Love this one. Joyce
I'm a librarian and I LOVE this!
What a clever idea to put the EP in a bottle with a spout!
love how this looks/works with the gel sticks! Thanks!
you use a heat gun (looks like a hair dryer) to melt the embossing powder:)
That's Awesome....... Oh, and I watched this video just in time. I was about to take a bunch of my daughters old tee shirts to the goodwill store. Now I'm gonna cut them up and use them as craft rags. Why didn't I think of that!
I always learn some awesome new ways to use m gelatos from you!
This turned out very pretty and interesting. Thank you.
I love that! So pretty and rustic looking. :) TFS!
Thanks for another awesome video :-) Im totally stealing your squirty embossing powder idea! I can only imagine it would make embossing with multiple colors soooo much easier yay
Yep many firsts - I like the ooogie t-shirt (not sure if that is how you would spell it!!!!)
Love the technique, and, as always, you make it look so quick and easy!
The little bottle for the embossing powder? - genius! Hugs Julie
oh my your card was so beautiful I would love to have that stamp I love Nature stamps and I just found some with rocks on them ....great fine!!
Love the idea!!! Thanks
that is a cool one for sure!! Thx, Hugs, Stephie =D
Great TECHNIQUE! Did you say "oogey"? I had a flashback to Misery...lol!
How do u do the heat thing?
Do you ever use an Embossing Buddy? Do you have one? Do you know how to make one?
put cornstarch in a fabric bag, viola, embossing buddy:)
@@thefrugalcrafter TY!
I meant "Pointy tip" - or needle nosed tip - or whatever - way too early in the morning for me to be typing!
