In the government page is written that "It is illegal to hire an au pair if he/she is on a Visitor Visa or visiting the UK for 6 months or less. Pocket money is considered to be payment for work" I don't understand how you did it anyway

Hey, I have been in contact with my future house family. Since I got an attention for my future house family. He told me about the possibility of him who is going to pay my course, visa, and meals. But there is a thing that I am a bit worry about where the requirements of becoming an aupair for UK in the aupair website's requirements, where the website said to every aupairs must have enough money to support themselves without relying on public funds (before the aupair start receiving any allowances from host family. My question is, is that true that from the first place we need to cover up our needs first by our personal money?

@@caliosta6046 hey ! so, i guess it's good for you to have some spare money just in case something happens or whatever. I don't think you should have like A LOT of money saved, but at least a bit just in case you know ? But that's good news if they can pay for your visa and everything :)

it depends on your family's needs, mine needed me to have one and thankfully it was my case :)
and then for the experience, it also depends on the family i guess ? i assume they would prefere you to have some experience cuz it would be safer, but i personnaly didn't have that much and it was still okay :)

@@MhtbRaha-gk4dw hey ! well yes for the families it really depends on who you fall into.. just trust your instincts i guess ! and i'm not sure between uk and us because i've never been to the us so i couldn't say.. :/ and at the end of your stay it's the same i'm not sure because i didn't need any visa while i was there, but then you have other visas like student visa etc.. i recommend you check the uk's government website they will have more informations :)

    Hi
I am going to UK for MSc for 2 years and i would like to be aupair there. I already have student visa.
For cost reduction i am opting for aupair job in uk...
    I have this idea.
Is it ok.... I mean is it feasible..? Can i do it this way.
I am a great cook and have experience in child care. Have international driving license and require no visa Sponsorship from host family.
You have experience what do you say. Shall i apply for it.
