The hair piece moment was gold! I had been looking at her hair for all of part 1, wondering how it could be so incredibly perfect. (And why mine never is). It's a great comfort to know she's using a gazillion hair products and clip in pieces. The fact that she shared it just like that was wonderfully down to earth and doesn't take one iota of glamour away from her.
These interviews blow me away! What an interesting and inspiring woman - as with so many of your guests. Thank you for providing a platform for us to hear what they have to say.
This is an amazing series. Thank you for interviewing Trish! I discovered her line when I worked for Bluemercury many years ago and I've followed her ever since. She's so innovative and such an icon!!
What an inspiration! There is something very special about Trish! 68, I had to play it back 3 times to make sure I heard that right!!!!!! I was thinking early 50s! Wonderful interview!
EPIC!!!! Thats an overused word but it feels like the only one that is appropriate for this session!!! Trish is so right about being the ONE who mastered the Makeup Wardrobes in an amazing diary like package!! I too have the original Trish McEvoy brushes, although some of them were stolen backstage during fashion week circa 1995.. They are just as fresh and amazing today as they were all those years ago!! Trish you are a BABE and my makeup journey wouldn't have been the same without you!! Thanks Sali for your amazing work!! XOXOXOX from Ireland
What a beautiful, talented, youthful looking woman. I have been using her tinted moisturizer shade 2 for over 5 years, as my one and only foundation. I had no idea she was 68. I can only wish I look half as good as her.
Sali, I had never tried Trish McEvoy makeup before. I'm 41 and I have tried tones of makeup over the years. I got a makeover in Selfridges a few weeks ago and loved the products. The gel eye liner pencil, eye base and cream eye shadow stick are the best I have eye tried. Shelley x
I still have some of my gold Trish brushes from the early 90s. They are the best brushes I've ever used. I loved her mini-pallettes and used one of them for years and years. I was so sad when it went away. Love Trish!
First of all, I really liked Trish's comment about liking things nice - you can totally hand over control if you work with someone whose aesthetic, work ethic and expectations of quality are on par with your own. When they're not, one (myself very much included) tends to have no choice but to micromanage and live by the old 'if you want something done well, do it yourself' mantra. Also, throughout both videos I just kept lusting over her hair and being all 'woe is me with my thin, fine hair', and then she whips out some clip-ons and pulls a strand out to demonstrate! Absolute involuntary grin material!
Absolutely loved this one. Beautiful bathroom and great products. She is amazing and very inspirational. Love the planners as well, will have to check those out.💖🦋
Hairdresser here- there IS an Olaplex conditioner to clarify the Olaplex talk in this video. There is an Olaplex treatment (the bonder which comes in #1 & 2 for stylists use, and #3 for the take home customer), and then there are a shampoo(#4), conditioner (#5), and styling product (#6), which all have some of the bonding agent in them. The conditioner is quite full of silicone - some people loveit and some do not. Hope this helps
Lisa!!! I'm here because of your lastest Trish planner video! Thanks for the inspiration Lisa! I used to wear her makeup back in the 90s. Now thinking of getting the Nordstrom planner.
I have Trish McEvoy brushes from the early 1990s! I got them from Nordstrom when I was young and poor. I remember them telling me they were made of squirrel hair, which I thought was a little gross, but bought them anyway. They have held up amazingly and I still use them. One of them is really tiny, for like liner, etc. and my daughters (12 and 15 and not even a thought in my head when I bought them), have loved that one the best since they were little girls. It's name is "little brush" and we all love him (not to mention the iconic press and wiggle brush for eyeliner!) Thanks, Trish and thanks, Sali. This was great fun!
Lots of compliments on Sali's dress. Animal prints not my thing, but I LOVE Trish's outfit. Totally me; top that looks like a leotard, black and grey (which I call light black) color scheme, black tights, and those boots. To die for. MaryKay (another beauty innovator and empowerer of women) came out with magnetic compacts around 2007. Love being able to put my own palettes together. Surely, Sali, you could do a part 3 with Trish!! Another terrific ITB segment!!
I still have two gold Trish brush left! It's the double slant/half slant eyeshadow brush. I bought many more but I think daughters and maybe a few friends snuck them out over time ;-)
I was wondering how she got that hair! What a treat. She was so generous with time and spirit. Sali and this interview series are in a class of their own.
@@jessejames6688Totally agree - would love to know what Sali in particular was wearing - very luminous make up - gorgeous dress. Trish looked amazing - 68? Shut up, don't believe it :)
Wow, fantastic interview. Trish seems so down to earth, I love that. Sally your frock is super fabulous- I’m compelled to ask where it’s from- I need it! 💗👗PS Happy Easter long weekend 🐰
I love this episode, she is the coolest women ,, she’s so beautiful and seems like she’s very nice as well ,,, if you like DAVINES ,, try the liquid spell for volume ,, I am a hairdresser and it’s the BEST ,,love the olaplex too ! My clients love the olaplex for home
There is no point in taking a European hair dryer, straightener etc to the US. Their voltage is only 110 so it will always underpower our kit. US hotels tend to have pretty decent dryers which are calibrated to 110 - much better than EU hotel dryers.
I love the concept of Trish's makeup and made attempts at it, but it contains such disputable ingredients, that frankly I just couldn't. As Trish said...people are so much more aware now, and perhaps they will not buy a mascara containing parabens, of foundation with mineral oil.
American accents are like nails on a blackboard. I strongly prefer your interviews w British ppl. The reflection of those super bright lights in the mirror combined with that daft slow talking american has done my head in after 2 minutes.

you could actually see your face with them off- I think it is way better without them
By far my favourite and most inspirational ‘in the bathroom with’,with no disrespect to all those wonderful guests prior. this lady is truly goals!!
I love how Sali just sits on the floor, like you would a girlfriend’s bathroom. I love love love this series, thank you so much for bringing it to us.

Same here, just when I thought she was fabulous and estimated early fifties. She said 68 and I hit the replay button
Incredible woman.
Another amazing video & amazing guest Sali, I just kept thinking that Trish looks like a Charlie's Angel xx
Collette Burke yes her voice sounds like Jaclyn Smith
The hair too; that’s quite reminiscent of Jaclyn’s style in the series.
DYING to know what was in the cupboard under the fragrances. Just can't get enough of this woman!
Isn't she interesting!!!
I love how generous Trish was in sharing with you everything, or as much as she could. Amaze!
Such a classy lady to interview. Showing us the way to easy beauty. Never tried her products but will be looking for them
I have loved & owned Trish's products for years & now I love the person. What a beautiful woman inside & out!
I need to buy everything Trish right now😍🌟

I just love Trish...have several of her brushes I bought in the 80s and Im still using them
Thank you so much Sali! I feel so privileged to be there with you both watching you go through an amazing collection! Loved this and love Trish! Xxx
I love Trish’s concluding statement at the end of the interview.

the eyeliner I'm sorry is not a fave and I am still looking for one- it skips and dries in clumps for me
Incredible. Thank you Sali.
What an amazing woman. She's genuinely a really lovely person. X

Another awesome interview! Loved every minute of it! Thank you!
I still have two gold Trish brush left! It's the double slant/half slant eyeshadow brush. I bought many more but I think daughters and maybe a few friends snuck them out over time ;-)
I loved when she clipped out her hair. Fantastic inspiring video. Is the white wash bag she uses to travel from her own line? I can’t find it online
Another fabulous interview, would have loved to hear more about the involvement of her late husband in the business. Adored her x
Trish is so elegant!
I was wondering how she got that hair! What a treat. She was so generous with time and spirit. Sali and this interview series are in a class of their own.

Her Glycolic Wash is out, she pulled it for a while, It’s great.
So curious all of the brands of brushes Trish has in her jars and which ones are from her line?
Another wonderful video. Sali, you are the best and your dress is gorgeous.
Trish is so beautiful. Both women rocking the brunette hair here, great interview.
Fabulous interview - thanks Sali! **What is that mirror?** I need it in my life! :) x
ButterflySoul Its a Simple Human mirror and they are fabulous!
I need a mirror too - the big kind (for a vanity is not going to work) I usually do it in the car- but would like to do it sitting by my laptop now-
Love this - learn so much about some super interesting people and products from in the bathroom videos. Thank you, Sali x

This bathroom...My dream..
My new icon ❤
the real question is that where in NY you could ever afford to have such a HUGE bathroom?!:O:))
Sali, I love those boots. Where are they from?
They're from Grenson. Lauren x
The camera person is drunk....
well, no, but it would be great to see the products better and have some sort of consistent angle.
Skincare????
I wish the leopard print dress lady would stop interrupting.
I love the concept of Trish's makeup and made attempts at it, but it contains such disputable ingredients, that frankly I just couldn't. As Trish said...people are so much more aware now, and perhaps they will not buy a mascara containing parabens, of foundation with mineral oil.
Trish is so weird but you Sally are Brilliant
So bougie but her mirror is filthy with fingerprints. Kind of a contradiction.
Yessssss
That s life...that's reality...
It was driving me nuts! lol

The reflection of those super bright lights in the mirror combined with that daft slow talking american has done my head in after 2 minutes.
You must be just bright ray of sunshine :)
Go crawl back under your rock.
