Love the off-season series because it gives so much insight into different footballers you play with and also so much effective drills. Really love the drills and implementing it into my own sessions. 😆

First drills are just 🔥 Simple, but you get a ton of touches, and you just feel it on your legs after a few sets👏🏼👏🏼

Consistency is key when going pro, and when training for anything in general. Matt exemplifies that perfectly

i ve never valued football so much in my life until now that i got an acl injury. Its only 1 month since the injury and i am already missing football so much i cant wait these 6 7 months to pass and go back in the pitch

Should come train at elms college in chicopee mass, we play USJ about 30 mins away! Let me know if you can or I’ll drive to CT to get a session would love to train with you matt
🔥
the sound in the video look like the sound in some 7mlc amsr video
It’s the way pros hit the ball. You can tell they’re good just from the sound of the ball
Can you please show us an individual session
Hey,
Is it possible for you to make a video on how to do the different strength exercises properly? The technique etc. Im trying to find videos on TH-cam, but the ones who are showing it are not athletes.
Aww St. Joseph's University. I remember when it was St. Joseph's College and it was am all-female college.
champion of europe
do a traning with 7mlc
I have open tryouts coming up for fc valley fuego and i don’t have a team to train with right now, any tips or what to focus on before my tryouts? I only have 2 weeks left to prepare
I have a video on this coming out soon. But I’d work on speed of play? So perfect technique at game-like speeds. Also, make sure you’re as fit as possible. Being fit will ensure that your technique doesn’t fail you when you’re tired.
Good luck bro
Conner should visit PC or Bryant and train with the boys
How hard or how much the ball is supposed to be pumped? Could you make a tutorial or something if you want?
that last part got me dead 😂😂😂
good stuff. I grew up and still live near where the McGlynn's live in Queens, NY.
How long do you do the passing for and how many sets
what watch are you using?
I love this! Want to put the son out in the yard and practice with him! He’s 12 and travel league is just out of the question at the moment.
USJ representing!
is that fg fields? are you using fg boots on ag fields, and is it safe?
Where did that table come from? 😅
How long does the session take?
whats ur time on 10km/6 miles??
Conor in this vid, looks like he played in the 50's
Can you please tell me how do you pass without the ball bouncing so consistently ? i havent figured out the technique
That's called passing the ball
Does anyone know what brand the soccer ball he uses is from?
Select, it’s a danish brand, love them
Didn't thought that you all pros also fight, like we rising teen ballers do BTW that's me and my bro always do 😂
Hello, I would like to ask you please and I hope you will answer me
My name is Amin from Morocco and I am 20 years old, my height is 1:86 and my weight is 72. My dream is to play professional football in Aruba. Is there a possibility for that to happen and how do I do it?
How do I join a MLS academy team if I'm not from America
"With tennis balls, it is more important to get used to moving the ball from foot to foot than to develop your dribbling skills. In fact, since tennis balls are too small to get your laces to, it is recommended that you only use these balls for close control."
Does it really work?
i 19 i from canada can i start soccer
A question for the offseason Q&A - I have anaphylaxis to several foods, including dairy, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, etc. I'm working my way to pro (right now I'm in 11th grade, and I have been contacted by several NCAA D1 colleges and coaches, who have invited me to showcase events), and I was wondering if you knew whether professional teams would sign a player with severe food allergies? If you have played with any players who have anaphylaxis or some type of severe food allergies, I was wondering how that worked for them, and if that was a hardship for them or the club? I would definitely be willing to do anything extra that the club would require in terms of the food situation, should I make it to the professional level. I was just wondering what your thoughts would be on the issue. Thanks.
Check out Dr. Randhawa of the Food Allergy Institute in Los Angeles. He only treats kids (and I think you still qualify) but he has changed 1000's of kids' lives by helping them get rid of their allergies.
@@akamai25Ok, so that's pretty crazy. I did not know there was an actual treatment for anaphylaxis. The only problem with that treatment is that I live in NC. My understanding from looking at the website is that they only have a clinic in CA. I may be missing something though. Thank you for letting me know about that though.
@@etchpa Yes unfortunately it is only in California through Dr Randhawa. It is really expensive because of the program costs and having to go there every 6-8 weeks for the length of the program. I think he wants to take it national eventually though. I just wanted to let you know that there is a solution out there and hopefully it will become more common and affordable. Most allergists just say 'avoid whatever you are allergic to' and don't even know or want to acknowledge this program b/c it goes against their industry. Good luck on your soccer journey!
Thanks! I really appreciate your advice, help, and insight with everything.
A tip: in order to get the best training you should do max of 4 reps, Ronaldo did this two at man u when he wanted to become better
You mean 4 sets? I guess the rationale behind it is fatigue and diminishing returns?
@@bluepandasquad nah i meant what i said. It is 4 reps, for example you do two touch than you need to do 4 reps and and 1 min break
I am not getting satisfaction from my training. I made a good plan . if I don't get satisfaction from a drill i do it hours for getting rhythm but things would go wrong . But it also affect my other drills and end of the day I wouldn't get satisfaction.
its all about keeping clear head. sounds like you are getting frustrated. just enjoy the process and work hard!
When you feel frustrated, stop, breathe in and out, and restart. Try to stay sharp. Start A drill slow and then speed it up with time in order to challenge yourself. You got this!
All should work on is being a good crosser this off season.
Your assist stats are bad.
I always thought this.
That's not the teqnique to high cross or high shot gols
In the offseason you have to acquire new skills. Otherwise you will be the same.
Matt, I don't know why you were so concerned about how your performance in the drills in this video compared with Conor's. He's clearly quite a bit better than you at the technical side of the game. You should only compare your performances with your past performances if you want to avoid becoming as disappointed as you seemed to be here. The technical side of the game will never be an area of strength for you, compared to other professional footballers. You'll be a lot happier if you accept that but keep trying to improve it nonetheless. Also, I doubt Conor would be all that disappointed if you performed better than he did in some fitness or sprinting drill.
