So far Ive liked most all of the case dozer's Ive ever run. I worked for one local contractor a couple years ago who had a 1150 open cab, it was a pushin machine. Pretty smooth too.
@@timber750 which d6 are you comparing it against. N and T are alot heavier and stronger but a K is about the size of this 1150 but it prolly wouldn't drive up that bank of dirt w the blade off of it, about like the 700k I used to run. It didn't like any amount of hills at all.
The Case 1150 always seemed very flashy and performed well when operating, but everyone I have known never made any money with them. They always suffered major downtime with transmission dramas.
Bought a 15-yr old (or older) 1150B Loader back in 1997, worked it hard for three years, and re-sold it for 90% of what I paid initially. Always ran, always filled the bucket, always did the heavy lifting. No issues at all with motor or transmission.
yeah my kubota and case ih preimere dealer selling a 1150M case dozer for $70,000 and a 1121F case loader for $66,000 wich isnt bad price for big toys better what deeres and cat wants for there
constructionqueen41: yeah they are real good products and really cheaper too here in pei at my kubota and case IH preimere dealer wich he sells a 1121F case loader for $66,000 or a case 1150M for $70,000 wich not bad for great on sale price from my kubota/case ih dealer
Cat390D's Channel Shhhh ! It is a secret. What ever you do, don't read the description. And if you do read the description, you are hereby sworn to secrecy. We wouldn't want to spoil the surprise for others. LMFAO
johnnykATL If you bought something, would you say you were just trying it out ? Seriously ? Most people don't buy a new car, truck, dozer or whatever without test driving it first, then buying it if they like it. I don't know, maybe you would, maybe you are "special". LMAO
Thank you for the dissertation on how things are commonly purchased, it was quite informative and somewhat riveting actually. As I initially said, it still doesn't say who owns it in the description...you know what they say about assumptions. Have a special day :)
My dad and grandfather started our excavating company in 1951, we started using case equipment in 1957 when they came out with the first real Backhoe, we have used case equipment ever sense! I have run cat equipment but the case backhoes would always out dig the cat they were just faster, I would not pay more money for a slower machine that has the most expensive parts on the market! It is very rare to have any downtime they are very dependable but we do not run our equipment like Cowboys we run them like we paid for them and we did! There is nothing wrong with cat equipment I just run what is tried and true for me! I don’t run junk!

@@mikewhipkey6863 I just left Moundsville West Virginia bro. Haha Fun

I have no idea what you were trying to do, but that hill was changed massively and FAST.
looks like your having fun , the new case would be nice to drive.
Nice little new Case dozer
Working nice Chris ✌👌👍😂😂
No decelerator on that thing Chris?
Hangs on well on a side slope . Have you tried it under full blade up hill? Nice size for most average sites is the 1150.
Reg Sparkes yeah its about the size of a cat D6
@@letsdig18 Case version of D6 was 1450 or (later) 1550. D6 larger and more powerful than 1150

Nothin like new iron! Any likes/dislikes over the Komatsu besides different class?

buffalostate1 nice machine the blade control will take some getting use to
Awesome job Chris.
How about a long excavator video like digging or loading lot's of dump trucks... Thanks
P
how does one go about learning to operate a dozer?
Very carefully
(when pushing) keep the nose down
There's two things in this world I can't do with a dozer can't make it float and I can't make it fly you grade with your ass that's my only advice.
Put your ass in the seat and see what works.
Cool little dozer. :)

Can I buy from Bangladesh?
Seems a bit slow compared to your Komatsu.
That's about the size of a 700 or D6k ain't it
More like a D5 or 650 Deere
you must have a half dozen of equiipment, so you hire workers when you do a job
Do you own it?

johnnykATL No problem, I am always glad to help out a special needs person, especially one who can't quite recognize sarcasm. LOL
Sure looks like a John Deere to me...
I am not good with a dozer. I admit it.
You just about got yourself into a serious bind (& a payment for a totaled machine) there.
no
Case stuff seems to light to me, no weight to push with
case dozers out weigh other dozers when comparing horsepower to horsepower. you cant go by the number on the side of the machine.
Just playing.
Gostei
Un abordo
I just can't let myself like case equipment.... it just seems like junk to me with really expensive parts...
Id take a case product over cat any day
