Fasting alone doesn't help. What helped me is getting closer to Allah with nawafil, praying more, listening to and reading the Quran more, trying to keep myself busy and try to be around ppl more, making more istighfar and asking Allah to help me with this hardship. Marriage isn't easy for many of us. May Allah help us all, it's a test.
This is one of the hardest test for some people which is to protect there chastity to protect themselves from sexual desires. It's way too hard to get rid of and the reason why it comes into people's minds even when they don't want to do it is because when there lonely and got no one else to be with them or if no one is willing to talk with them or do something for them and if no one gives you motivation and help then they would definitely still do it so I ask Allah swt to forgive us all, to help us all and to protect us from these things Ameen ya Rab.

I think it's worth mentioning how great of a Jihad it is for youngsters nowadays to control their gazes and desires. Yep months ago i was doing intermittent fasting & it does decrease ur sexual desire & i am able to go on my nofap journey for 1 month which is personal record for me. Also when breaking fast u need to eat in a moderate amount otherwise a big meal will just increase the sexual desire back. Im now on track back insha allah.

From personal experience I have learned that if you control your gaze and avoid by any means the zina of the eyes you will be amazed how easy it is to quit masturbation and control your desires and remember not only women that you see in person this counts for social media and everything else that your eyes might fall in zina. If you feel either too tired or too lazy (or whatever it is that sheytan wants you to feel) to read the Quran then try this, it 100% works on me : bait your own self to reading it. How ? Well, since the Quran is quite long, sheytan will use it to his advantage saying "Quran is too long, you can always read it some other time" Use his own trap to your advantage and think this way, "then how about simply reading one verse ? Or how about I read it for 1 minute only and then just go to sleep or whatever I'm about to do next ? You know what, I'll read for 5 minutes straight, that should be enough". You might think reading one verse or five or ten isn't enough when we know there are hundreds of them but WALLAHI this will hurt sheytan so bad and guess what ? Allah is one to ease any hardship and difficulty so if you believe hard enough, those 1 or 5 minutes of reading Quran will transform into hours and hours insh'Allah May Allah guide us all

I can tell that fasting does work! I was sick and had to fast for days, during that time I can't think of my lust because I was busy with other kinds of desires, such as hunger, thirst, and health (because I was sick/! Those three were greater than my lust, and it certainly will help if you fast.

Its not a sin. According to Hanafi school if you dont have a wife its permissible for avoiding zina. In fact, it has been started by Hanafi scholar Ibn Abidin that istimna is necessary(mustahab) if there is a fear of committing adultery.

I'll just leave this here. known Ibn al-Haj al-Maliki (may Allah have mercy on him), said: “A man should refrain from thinking such thoughts and tell others to avoid this behaviour too, i.e., this obnoxious characteristic that has unfortunately become very common, which is when a man sees a woman whom he likes, he goes to his wife and has intercourse with her, and starts to imagine that woman whom he has seen. This is a kind of zina (adultery) because of what our scholars (may Allah have mercy on them) have said about the one who takes a tankard and drinks water from it, but he imagines that it is alcohol that he is drinking - so that water becomes haram for him. Ibn Muflih al-Hanbali (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “Ibn ‘Aqil stated in al-Ri’ayah al-Kubra that if a man imagines the image of another woman who is forbidden to him whilst having intercourse with his wife, he is sinning, but a passing thought that he cannot prevent does not constitute a sin.” (Al-Adab al-Shar’iyyah (1/98) Al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “The reason why passing thoughts are forgiven is what we have mentioned above, that they cannot be avoided. But it is possible to avoid dwelling on them. Hence dwelling on them is haram.” (Al-Adhkar (345) The 'ulama agreed that whatever thoughts comes to mind it is not a sin because it comes from shaytan, but to dwell on the bad thoughts/fantasy and indulging yourself to it for your own pleasure is a sin. You can find many reasoning as you want and say that it's not haram, but your heart knows what is wrong and what is not, Allah made it so, and if you fight for your own view of it just for the sake of argument wallahi it will be held accountable later, may Allah forgive me and forgive us all.

Some people say that this verse you mention doesn't limit one self from their sexual parts but rather it's referring to guarding your private parts to others outside marriage meaning fornication or showing your private parts to others outside of marriage. This is how some people understand this verse.
the verse doesnt say “and those who guard their privates” and stops there. the verse indicates the only 2 lawful uses for private parts. if the verse were already about adultery, it would have said “and those who guard their privates” and stop right there. instead it mentions the halal and forbids any further use very clearly.

Given the verses of Surah Al Muminoon 23:5-7, nearly all of the Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali scholars have mentioned that it's haram, even though there is no clear Hadith which indicates whether the Prophet Muhammad (saw) allowed or disallowed masturbation. Majority of Hanafis take that position too. Some minority (repeat: minority) Hanafi and Ahl E Sunnah scholars argue that masturbation becomes makrooh ONLY IN 2 EXTREME HARD-TO-CONTROL CONDITIONS, and those extreme conditions are: (1) if one is spouseless and is unable to control or relieve his desire (2) if one has a spouse and it becomes extremely difficult to reach the spouse when the sexual desire gets to them. Some minority scholars also say that if you're in an environment where you fear that you might fall into zina, then masturbation is the lesser of the two evils, but it still doesn't remain permissible.

The Quran did not mention masturbation, so we cannot use it to reach a final judgment. As for hadith, there isn’t a single authentic narration that mentions masturbation, therefore hadith cannot help us either in reaching a definitive judgment. Every Muslim’s aim should be to avoid it if they can, since true love and fear of God means that a person should avoid everything that has even the slightest possibility of displeasing Him.

It doesn’t make any sense to make masturbating prohibited. It’s a natural thing for humans to do, it’s part of our Owen bodies, and it helps us stay away from haram like actually having sex before marriage.
Allah says in the Quran, "some things you think are good for you but they are bad for you, and some things you think are bad for you but they are good for you, Allah knows and you know not." This is a verse in the Quran and it is says that even if you think there is nothing wrong with an action, like masturbation for example, Allah has said it is not permissable, and as believers in Allah we trust his wisdom and knowledge over our own.

It is not for scholars to make up religion. Nowhere, absolutely nowhere, either in the Quran, or the Hadith, does it mention that masturbation is prohibited. Surah 23, verse 5-7, which scholars use to say masturbation is prohibited, is not sufficient to make such an interpretation, nor prohibition. Verse 6 mentions wives and those that right hands possess, with whom sex is allowed. So it is mentioning OTHER human beings. There is no mention of the self. When verse 7 mentions that anything beyond that is a transgression, a much more appropriate interpretation for anything beyond "their wives or that their right hands possess", as stated in verse 6, would be girlfriends, work colleagues, masseurs, relatives, own mother, own sister, own daughter, house maids, other females, homosexuals, prostitutes, basically anybody who is not a wife or anybody who the right hand does not possess. Self masturbation doesn't come into it.

The greatest weapon of us is asking forgiveness, the sole purpose of Satan is to stop us from doing that. So ,the best trick they played Was to make us believe that we can't survive without social media. And since it's a necessity we are forced to see the content we know is wrong but can't help it. And so it seems like it's not possible to be forgiven because we have something in our lives that is very important but is making us commit sins every time we are on it. So the solution is to change the core belief and understand that it's not important at all. Or consuming its content is utterly not necessary. Only use it when necessary. I first done this act when i was at 4 or 5, you might be suprised yes its very young, no one told me to do that or even taught me, i discovered it myself somehow, even my family members were punishing me when they know im doing it, i stayed at this addiction for about 8-9 years, then i knew i had to stop it, in my oppenion, you dont need to hide the websites, because you dont want to be blocked from doing the act, you want to have the chance to do it and say no, to resist doing it. Another solution is also punishing yourself when you do this act, wether no playing videogames for a week, no youtube, no food, or even slight phesycal punishment, like a rubberband around your wrist, whenever you do the act, you pull it and let go, so it hurts, this way your brain will know that there is a heavy punishment for that so dont do it, also fasting works well, because you will be focusing on hunger and thirst, that you wouldnt be able to think about lust. My advise is to cut off zina from your life. Anything outside of what is mahram (lawful women) stay away from- music, movies, free mixing. That’s the wisdom behind the hijab. I‘m a practicing muslim but I have to admit it‘s impossible not to commit this sin. I think we as muslims should get along with this sad fact. The urges always come back making you weak.
Knowing that I am not able to get married, I have no option but mastrubation. But alhamdu li lah, everytime satan reminds me of its pleasure; I remind myself of its pain. Remind yourself of the pain (ie. sin and consequences) of mastrubation and not its pleasure

Subhan Allah how people misunderstand each other. I said that it does not matter if many scholars said mastrubation is permissible. Because the opinion you should follow is the correct opinion and not the opinion that is in accordance with your desires. And I follow the opinion that it is not harram, and many people follow it. That is why I am concerned about it. If you believe it is permissible, then why are you discouraging me from advising those who follow the opinion that it is harram.
It was suprisingly easy to give it up when I started to accept God more and now I’m 2 weeks in, sith Ramadan coming it will pretty much kill my habit for good.

Just think of it, one day you will get married and it might affect your marriage life as well and even masturbating too much can cause an impact on your married life cause you might face a medical problem related to prostrate. Whether it's makrooh or haraam, but there is no doubt that it's a very bad habit; it can push a person into watching wrong things, and also zinna. Better to stay away from this habit.

There is a difference of opinion regarding the permissibility of masturbation. The majority of the scholars say its haram while other scholars say it is makrooh (disliked) and each have their reasoning and evidences. Don't spread your opinion as if believing masturbation is haram is equivalent to believing drinking alcohol is haram. It isn't a matter of consensus by any means, although I personally believe one shouldn't do it for many reasons.
The prophet Jesus said in the Bible not to do it all. It is a sin, he took it a step further and says in Matthew 5:27-28; you have heard how it was said, you shall not commit adultery. But I say to you, if a man looks at a woman lustfully, he has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
It's veryyyyy clearly mentioned in Quran that Zina is Haram and even mentioned the punishment (which is govt. choice like capital punishment or life sentence). How come Allah ta'ala didn't mention Masturbation along. It's very simple to understand that it is Makrooh so that if anyone is having a hard time stopping himself from Zina, the option is available not to disrupt the society. Depends on the madhhab, Hanafi madhhab did not say it's Haram. If in the Madhab they themself conflict with each other. It's not like Zina where all of them say it's Haram. And there's nowhere you can find it in the Hadiths. The ayah in the Quraan refers to marriage and yourself whereby you must control yourself not to do anything outside the marriage like Zina and does not say Masturbation. The translation takes it into general terms and to make it simple they say it's Haram. Allahualam.....

This was just the sheikh's opinion on masturbation by saying it was haram. The fact that the prophet (saw) never said to masturbate means that he doesn't permit you, thus it is not recommended, which straight to the point was makruh. Modesty on the other hand when covering private parts are to avoid from fornication or sexual intercourse which was a different thing.
If it was Haram, Allah would have specifically mentioned “self-stimulating” in that Ayah, but he didn’t. Masturbation with no “films” or photos should be Makrooh. Not everyone can get married, like myself. Are we expected to never experience pleasure in our entire life?

With all due respect sir, there is difference of opinion amongst the scholars on the interpretation of this Quranic Ayat. One thing is clear though. Masturbation is not sexual intercourse. So how can you apply a verse about sexual intercourse on something which isn’t sexual interaction. Secondly the Prophet (SAW) told us to fast. Yes. But he did not say masturbation is Haram . The Prophet (SAW) did not say fast but never ever masturbate. Had he said that, then it would be clear cut haram and this never ending debate would never happen. But this isn’t the case. As Zakir Naik said, the Prophet(SAW) told us to eat olives but does that mean every other fruit is haram ? No it does not unless explicitly stated. So unless there is some Quranic verse or Sahih Hadith stating clearly that this act is haram, masturbation should be considered Makrooh. Since silence does not mean disapproval

I am glad that this sheikh finally has a TH-cam video where commenting is not prohibited. His answer to this question is not very responsible. He presents the views of certain scholars based on arguments which he believes are very strong but they aren’t. He uses the argument that prophet pbuh never permitted Muslims to do masturbation. It clearly doesn’t automatically mean that prophet pbuh prohibited it. He says prophet asked Unmarried Muslims to fast but since fasting is from dusk to dawn, it cannot be assumed that the prophet pbuh wanted to prohibit Muslims from masturbating by asking them to fast. Otherwise he would have clearly said this that don’t masturbate but he didn’t. Also, he uses the argument that Allah swt asked Muslims to not indulge in sexual intercourse unless it is with your wives or what your right hand possesses. This could very well mean that Muslims should not have sex with women who are not their wives, or it could mean to not have gay sex, or it could mean to not have sex with animals (some crazy people do this as well). Hence this Sheikh should not be taken seriously because he only presents only one point of view, which is incorrect way of answering Islamic questions and advising people.
In my understanding Quran doesn't list masturbation as Haram brother, it's not intercourse. The prophet (pbuh) is correct in recommending fasting. Fasting as it eliminate sexual distractions and allows men to focus on their duties and goals. I agree that it is makrooh, and therefore not something to be encouraged. There is a difference between masturbating and fornication.

Masturbation is forbidden in Islam, and that's a full stop. There is no reason for anyone to justify it. Sex is not "dirty", zinna or fornication is dirty. Sex in marriage is a beautiful thing. If you cannot afford to get married, then fast. The best solution for sexual deprivation isn't masturbation, cuz masturbation is addiction itself and eventually make you even more frustrated. This subject should be explain in context related to human conditions and situations. There is also the question of Agafu Dararayn the lesser of the two evils. The question of the preponderance of women over men. One man will have to maintain 50 women. Fasting alone doesn't help. What helped me is getting closer to Allah with nawafil, praying more, listening to and reading the Quran more, trying to keep myself busy and try to be around ppl more, making more istighfar and asking Allah to help me with this hardship. Marriage isn't easy for many of us. May Allah help us all, it's a test.

This is one of the hardest test for some people which is to protect there chastity to protect themselves from sexual desires. I think it's worth mentioning how great of a Jihad it is for youngsters nowadays to control their gazes and desires. Yep months ago i was doing intermittent fasting & it does decrease ur sexual desire & i am able to go on my nofap journey for 1 month which is personal record for me. Also when breaking fast u need to eat in a moderate amount otherwise a big meal will just increase the sexual desire back. Im now on track back insha allah.

From personal experience I have learned that if you control your gaze and avoid by any means the zina of the eyes you will be amazed how easy it is to quit masturbation and control your desires and remember not only women that you see in person this counts for social media and everything else that your eyes might fall in zina. If you feel either too tired or too lazy (or whatever it is that sheytan wants you to feel) to read the Quran then try this, it 100% works on me : bait your own self to reading it. How ?
Well, since the Quran is quite long, sheytan will use it to his advantage saying "Quran is too long, you can always read it some other time"
Use his own trap to your advantage and think this way, "then how about simply reading one verse ? Or how about I read it for 1 minute only and then just go to sleep or whatever I'm about to do next ? You know what, I'll read for 5 minutes straight, that should be enough".
You might think reading one verse or five or ten isn't enough when we know there are hundreds of them but WALLAHI this will hurt sheytan so bad and guess what ? Allah is one to ease any hardship and difficulty so if you believe hard enough, those 1 or 5 minutes of reading Quran will transform into hours and hours insh'Allah

Its not a sin. According to Hanafi school if you dont have a wife its permissible for avoiding zina. In fact, it has been started by Hanafi scholar Ibn Abidin that istimna is necessary(mustahab) if there is a fear of committing adultery.

This is a kind of zina (adultery) because of what our scholars (may Allah have mercy on them) have said about the one who takes a tankard and drinks water from it, but he imagines that it is alcohol that he is drinking - so that water becomes haram for him.
Ibn Muflih al-Hanbali (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
“Ibn ‘Aqil stated in al-Ri’ayah al-Kubra that if a man imagines the image of another woman who is forbidden to him whilst having intercourse with his wife, he is sinning, but a passing thought that he cannot prevent does not constitute a sin.” (Al-Adab al-Shar’iyyah (1/98)
Al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “The reason why passing thoughts are forgiven is what we have mentioned above, that they cannot be avoided. But it is possible to avoid dwelling on them. Hence dwelling on them is haram.” (Al-Adhkar (345)
The 'ulama agreed that whatever thoughts comes to mind it is not a sin because it comes from shaytan, but to dwell on the bad thoughts/fantasy and indulging yourself to it for your own pleasure is a sin.
You can find many reasoning as you want and say that it's not haram, but your heart knows what is wrong and what is not, Allah made it so, and if you fight for your own view of it just for the sake of argument wallahi it will be held accountable later, may Allah forgive me and forgive us all.

Some people say that this verse you mention doesn't limit one self from their sexual parts but rather it's referring to guarding your private parts to others outside marriage meaning fornication or showing your private parts to others outside of marriage. This is how some people understand this verse.
the verse doesnt say “and those who guard their privates” and stops there. the verse indicates the only 2 lawful uses for private parts. if the verse were already about adultery, it would have said “and those who guard their privates” and stop right there. instead it mentions the halal and forbids any further use very clearly.

Given the verses of Surah Al Muminoon 23:5-7, nearly all of the Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali scholars have mentioned that it's haram, even though there is no clear Hadith which indicates whether the Prophet Muhammad (saw) allowed or disallowed masturbation. Majority of Hanafis take that position too.

The Quran did not mention masturbation, so we cannot use it to reach a final judgment. As for hadith, there isn’t a single authentic narration that mentions masturbation, therefore hadith cannot help us either in reaching a definitive judgment. Every Muslim’s aim should be to avoid it if they can, since true love and fear of God means that a person should avoid everything that has even the slightest possibility of displeasing Him.

He explain it's prohibited from the Qur'an but the Qur'an doesn't say it's prohibited. Of course the Qur'an says that sexual intercourse with non spouse is prohibited.
It is not for scholars to make up religion. Nowhere, absolutely nowhere, either in the Quran, or the Hadith, does it mention that masturbation is prohibited. Surah 23, verse 5-7, which scholars use to say masturbation is prohibited, is not sufficient to make such an interpretation, nor prohibition. Verse 6 mentions wives and those that right hands possess, with whom sex is allowed. So it is mentioning OTHER human beings. There is no mention of the self. When verse 7 mentions that anything beyond that is a transgression, a much more appropriate interpretation for anything beyond "their wives or that their right hands possess", as stated in verse 6, would be girlfriends, work colleagues, masseurs, relatives, own mother, own sister, own daughter, house maids, other females, homosexuals, prostitutes, basically anybody who is not a wife or anybody who the right hand does not possess. Self masturbation doesn't come into it.

I first done this act when i was at 4 or 5, you might be suprised yes its very young, no one told me to do that or even taught me, i discovered it myself somehow, even my family members were punishing me when they know im doing it, i stayed at this addiction for about 8-9 years, then i knew i had to stop it, in my oppenion, you dont need to hide the websites, because you dont want to be blocked from doing the act, you want to have the chance to do it and say no, to resist doing it. Another solution is also punishing yourself when you do this act, wether no playing videogames for a week, no youtube, no food, or even slight phesycal punishment, like a rubberband around your wrist, whenever you do the act, you pull it and let go, so it hurts, this way your brain will know that there is a heavy punishment for that so dont do it, also fasting works well, because you will be focusing on hunger and thirst, that you wouldnt be able to think about lust. Just think of it, one day you will get married and it might affect your marriage life as well and even masturbating too much can cause an impact on your married life cause you might face a medical problem related to prostrate. So just try praying five times a day, exercise regularly, never sit alone or useless, keep yourself busy in something. It might help you to overcome it. I will pray for you InshaAllah.

There is a difference of opinion regarding the permissibility of masturbation. The majority of the scholars say its haram while other scholars say it is makrooh (disliked) and each have their reasoning and evidences. Don't spread your opinion as if believing masturbation is haram is equivalent to believing drinking alcohol is haram. It isn't a matter of consensus by any means, although I personally believe one shouldn't do it for many reasons.
The prophet Jesus said in the Bible not to do it all. It is a sin, he took it a step further and says in Matthew 5:27-28; you have heard how it was said, you shall not commit adultery. But I say to you, if a man looks at a woman lustfully, he has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
It's veryyyyy clearly mentioned in Quran that Zina is Haram and even mentioned the punishment (which is govt. choice like capital punishment or life sentence). How come Allah ta'ala didn't mention Masturbation along. It's very simple to understand that it is Makrooh so that if anyone is having a hard time stopping himself from Zina, the option is available not to disrupt the society. Depends on the madhhab, Hanafi madhhab did not say it's Haram. If in the Madhab they themself conflict with each other. It's not like Zina where all of them say it's Haram. And there's nowhere you can find it in the Hadiths. The ayah in the Quraan refers to marriage and yourself whereby you must control yourself not to do anything outside the marriage like Zina and does not say Masturbation. The translation takes it into general terms and to make it simple they say it's Haram. Allahualam.....

This was just the sheikh's opinion on masturbation by saying it was haram. The fact that the prophet (saw) never said to masturbate means that he doesn't permit you, thus it is not recommended, which straight to the point was makruh. Modesty on the other hand when covering private parts are to avoid from fornication or sexual intercourse which was a different thing.

With all due respect sir, there is difference of opinion amongst the scholars on the interpretation of this Quranic Ayat. One thing is clear though. Masturbation is not sexual intercourse. So how can you apply a verse about sexual intercourse on something which isn’t sexual interaction. Secondly the Prophet (SAW) told us to fast. Yes. But he did not say masturbation is Haram . The Prophet (SAW) did not say fast but never ever masturbate. Had he said that, then it would be clear cut haram and this never ending debate would never happen. But this isn’t the case. As Zakir Naik said, the Prophet(SAW) told us to eat olives but does that mean every other fruit is haram ? No it does not unless explicitly stated. So unless there is some Quranic verse or Sahih Hadith stating clearly that this act is haram, masturbation should be considered Makrooh. Since silence does not mean disapproval

His answer to this question is not very responsible.
He presents the views of certain scholars based on arguments which he believes are very strong but they aren’t.
He uses the argument that prophet pbuh never permitted Muslims to do masturbation. It clearly doesn’t automatically mean that prophet pbuh prohibited it.
He says prophet asked Unmarried Muslims to fast but since fasting is from dusk to dawn, it cannot be assumed that the prophet pbuh wanted to prohibit Muslims from masturbating by asking them to fast. Otherwise he would have clearly said this that don’t masturbate but he didn’t.
Also, he uses the argument that Allah swt asked Muslims to not indulge in sexual intercourse unless it is with your wives or what your right hand possesses. This could very well mean that Muslims should not have sex with women who are not their wives, or it could mean to not have gay sex, or it could mean to not have sex with animals (some crazy people do this as well).
Hence this Sheikh should not be taken seriously because he only presents only one point of view, which is incorrect way of answering Islamic questions and advising people.

In my understanding Quran doesn't list masturbation as Haram brother, it's not intercourse. The prophet (pbuh) is correct in recommending fasting. Fasting as it eliminate sexual distractions and allows men to focus on their duties and goals.
I agree that it is makrooh, and therefore not something to be encouraged.

Masturbation is forbidden in Islam, and that's a full stop. There is no reason for anyone to justify it. Sex is not "dirty", zinna or fornication is dirty. Sex in marriage is a beautiful thing. If you cannot afford to get married, then fast. The best solution for sexual deprivation isn't masturbation, cuz masturbation is addiction itself and eventually make you even more frustrated. If masturbation was a good thing, then Allah would have made it okay, but isn't. It is better to say you're addicted to it while knowing it's a sin, then making excuses by making it halal according to your logic. Making any haram things halal actually takes a Muslim out of the fold of Islam (which itself requires repentance and saying 2 Shahadas again)

Anything that is not involving someone else involuntarily, and is not causing harm to anyone else in any way, is a matter between you and Allah. You don't have to ask someone else for the answer, neither do you have to accept their interpretation of Allah's words.

This is a Hadith of our beloved Prophet Rasul Allah (SAW). So what I want to say is Allah did not say anything explicitly since this is His mercy and who are we to speak when Allah is silent. And no dear brother , a Fatwa in literal terms means a complete consensus of all scholars. Clearly a lot of scholars have taken the Stance that this act is haram, while many other scholars equally eminent disagree with them. So in the absence of any clear Ayat or Sahih Hadith, it’s best that this act be called Makrooh to provide ease for unmarried Muslims. Fasting, Exercise helps to, cold showers helps too. Praying
This subject should be explain in context related to human conditions and situations. There is also the question of Agafu Dararayn the lesser of the two evils. The question of the preponderance of women over men. One man will have to maintain 50 women. The question of the student who can't get married due to financial distraints and who needs a sound mind to focus on studies, ect This is no straight forward question to just say it is Haraam.
