Well, Tina as a character has been changing slowly too; the way she talked in the first four or five seasons was this weird, hushed voice which didn't quite work...then Dan just started talking exactly like he normally talks and Tina began to really flourish imo. One of the greatest characters in animated history. Certainly one of the most utterly unique.
With teddy I feel like he grew up in such a disfunctional chaotic family and he clings and relates to the chaotic yet stable belcher family because it's so familiar but better than how he grew up. I think he's sort of living vicariously through them and that drives his love for the family.
Idk in America or Western culture, but I can relate a lot from my own where neighbors are close to each other, we hang out together, my village held gathering and if I walk out of my door every people I met will say hi and asked how I'm doing, and I have a lot of teddy's in my life, people who around me and my family we grew attached to each other, help when something in need, teddy and Belcher's family relationships is heartwarming at the times. He is like the fun uncle of Belcher's family, who's always there to fix stuff
This was such a good movie, I only have nice things to say about it. Bobs Burgers has been my favorite show for the longest time and seeing it have a movie made me so happy. The animation, plot, and feel good moments were great. I hope we get more movies in the future.
I really love that the interviewer is actually a big fan of these people and she's not afraid to show it. It's so lovely and refreshing. That's not that common in interviews. I think it adds a special touch to this.

You gotta love how they say they really like each other, but as soon as John Roberts tries to touch anyone's shoulder they recoil and lean away from him! 😂
Yeah I noticed that. They clearly don't like him touching them. The second actor didn't play it off as well as the first one. He literally kept his body language leaned and angled as far away from him as he could comfortably sit in his chair. I guess until he realized that it looks.... questionable.... to continue that any longer than he already had, and fixed it.
