I haven't ridden a bike in years and I'm honestly not sure why this video was recommended to me. Saying that, I loved it! Thanks for bringing us along on the ride, maybe there is still life in this ex-racer still! 😅
Great editing too, keep it up!

Hi Ty and Kim. You are both riding gravel bikes that are at the top of my list. I nearly bought the Cervelo, it was actually in stock at a local shop but was convinced that it was too aggressive geo and stiff for a guy in his 50s. I don’t race but thinking an efficient fast bike makes sense. Then was looking at the True Grit again because it was available, good price and has the shock for more comfort. But the Lauf also has aggressive geo (note I’m a mountain biker) would you recommend either of the bikes for a non racer that will ride 50 miles a week on local gravel roads and rail trails. Or go with a more compliant bike like your previous bike the Diverge? Love to know your thoughts. Great job on your videos! Thanks

Hi Craig. Great question. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the bikes you mentioned. I bought my Cervelo purely because I have two wheelsets and it is a bike that can do it all. I was essentially looking for a road bike with clearance for 38s and I found it. I also got it for a good price and it had a 2x drivetrain. I like the 2x set up for a road bike. That being said, if you are only going to do 50 miles a week on some trails and gravel, I think the lauf is a good option. Or the Diverge. I do believe the Lauf and Cervelo are two of the best quality bikes for the cheapest price out there. As I was putting together this Lauf it just screams quality. It's a nice bike. I just put 38 slick gravel kings on the Lauf and those will be great tires for whatever she wants to ride. Anyways, good luck. Let me know how it goes.

@@TysRides I agree, I’m not finding much better for the price. Really appreciate the reply

We rode from Hartman Park all the way to the stadiums and if we had gone the other way I think it only goes a few miles. It's a nice trail for sure!
