I don't like Helen at all, she was always very shady and hypocrite... I wish Tara had won the season, she was the strongest and most committed of all😢 anyway, I just checked on all the finalists on social media and they gained the weight back, except for Tara, so I guess she's the winner ❤️

Jerry Hayes is the best inspiration this show has ever given to America. He showed everybody, along with his wife, that it’s never too late to turn your life around. Especially since he impressed and surprised everybody by losing a lot of weight at home to win the $100,000! And it’s awesome how he has kept off his weight to this day, and how his wife did as well until she passed away in 2023.
This was a great season and the final 3 did a great job on losing weight. I couldn't believe Jerry he really did an outstanding job. Tara is a beast and a big time badass. One of my favorite seasons for sure.

its ironic how in the first two couple seasons, the green couple was the first to go but then in this season tara wore green and dominated pretty much the entire season.
By Mike's somewhat recent wedding photo, he and Ron gained most of their weight back. It looks like little brother lost quite a bit, though. Mom is still skinny as a rail. Tara was sued in 2011 because she entered into a contract with some fitness firm and wasn't supposed to gain her weight back, but she gained about 45 lbs back at that point. And as of October of 2019, Helen has only gained 18 lbs back, so good for her. She wasn't my favorite on the show, but she really was the Biggest Loser, IMO.

quick update for yall: carla shanon kristin and filipe gained ALL the weight back, laura most of it, mike mandi and sione just a little bit. tara and joelle seem to be doing well. sadly, dan, damien and blaine passed away.
Kathy is also gone as is Estella. Laura actually looks like a million bucks now. Like it's hard to recognize that it's the same person. She's so skinny
Karma for Ron + Mike -- they should have and could have taken out Helen instead of Kristin. Helen gets on my nerves, but I'm glad that they didn't win bc that was messed up what they did to Kristin.
Kristin did lose 46% when she spent almost 3 weeks outside the ranch. Had she been in place of Helen it would have been even greater percentage than Helen. Too bad she was robbed of her chance but good to see that evil manipulator father son didn't get anything as well.

Wish Tara won. I always watch these shows, they really do give me the motivation. Because I've been one to either go up and down on my weight, and I lost almost all my weight before, because I hated how I was in high school. Then when the pandemic hit, I'll be honest I got lazy, and I got out on these different medicines due to my "ulcer" And "asthma" But over the summer I decided to quit the sodas and I don't drink any type of alcohol, and it turns out the sodas was what making me constantly sick, so I stopped talking the medicines and I stopped using my inhaler, only use it if I absolutely need to. I also count my steps and I'm trying to intermittent fast, so on don't over eat and I believe if people out there can better themselves, then so can I. Plus I've lost a little, but I won't weigh myself. I just pay attention to how my clothes fit.
I know this comment is over a year old, but David said in the episode that he and Daniel went home for good that he didn't want to be there. David just did not want to lose the weight, I think. Or he couldn't for some reason.
When i was 48 i lost 65 lbs in 3 months on my own. Like Helen, I had never been big before so, like Helen, it was a lot easier than if I'd been obese all my life. Unlike her daughter who needed the ranch.

After watching the entire season I can say : my idol is Joelle , she is a 40+ year old woman, she lives with her mother , she said her mother pays her bills so, I think she doesn't have a job . And she really looks in pain , she sure has a lot of secrets that were destroying her inside out. She was left alone to face bullies especially Kristen , she really hates her for no reason and she put an effort to get her out. After Carla came back, every one were getting between her and her joelle and carla fell in the trap, she became a bully too . But joelle refused to put her secrets out there, it was noy worth it. She is the only one who lost weight for the right reasons, she looked very proud of her weight lose. I mean she hated being there in the middle of bullies and she was working on her spirit first , she was right when she told carla you are not my friend , friends defend and protect their friends . I hope she is doing better I really do.
I agree...Carla should've been more sensitive to Joelle's situation, seeing as they are best friends. I'd have my friend's back before any amount of money: we knew each other long before any tv show. It shows how money can divide people. Also, with the secrets of methamphetamines, diuretics, and other shots and pills coming out, Carla didn't know that Joelle refused to comply, which is why she was ostracized in the first place...and ultimately why the show ended abruptly.
Spoiler incoming (and a little rant) . . . . Did anyone realise how Mike lost $100.000 because they voted for Mike to stay? He lost a higher % than Jerry. If he had been voted OUT, he would have lost the highest percentage and would have earned the 100.000; instead he ends up not winning a penny. Helen won fair and square but it is so unfair that Mike got nothing at all; what a broken system. Also, saddens me he and Kristen gained all their weight again :(
The issue with biggest loser is that its weight lose cramping... they dont know how to balance life example yes eat oatmeal for breakfast some days or fruit or a bowl of frosted flakes cereal or a full eggs pancakes bacon breakfast in moderation.... the force them to lose weight quick without sitting down and enjoying life at the same time which is said in the previous episode Jillian had to speak to Tara and Helen about it dont live a healthy life live a balanced lifestyle.... which is what they dont learn on campus

David has gained back some of the weight he had lost from the week Nicole, Estella, and him were weighed in on campus for a chance back into the game. It seems as if he really didn’t care about losing weight at all, and it really showed all season.
I think it’s also partly that the guy only had one week on campus. The fact that he got so big in the first place indicates that he needed some serious guidance and someone to hold him accountable along the way. Being let loose so soon, he wasn’t rlly given tools to succeed that the others were

popanga 099 Yeah, when he came back to the show with Nicole and Estelle, he lost around 45lbs, now at the end he’s lost only 43lbs, so I believe he actually gained weight. I don’t think he had any motivation or will power to lose weight at all

David has gained back some of the weight he had lost from the week Nicole, Estella, and him were weighed in on campus for a chance back into the game. It seems as if he really didn’t care about losing weight at all, and it really showed all season.
I think it’s also partly that the guy only had one week on campus. The fact that he got so big in the first place indicates that he needed some serious guidance and someone to hold him accountable along the way. Being let loose so soon, he wasn’t rlly given tools to succeed that the others were
