This was awesome. I learnt so much about the Old Believers, and Russianess. I have honestly gone thru all the YT docs on Russian history but this was the best, I now truly have a grasp of the claims to Identity in a unbiased way for the various Rus nations. Learnt about the famous overture being from the opening of a Grand Orthodox Cathedral.
    This was really really great.
Gonna start harassing the Orthodox Squad, Deacon Ananias, Jay Dyer, and others to come on your show if that's okay!? A little light shined on this channel and it will boom surely

Saint Nicholas II. Why not use his full title.
Super off-putting takes in relation to Saint Nicholas and how he governed.
Example; The idea that non Christians should have had a seat at the table is so out of place for someone that is the head of the only true church, of the only true religion.
"He didn't do what needed to be done"
Well Fr. Says that but in the same breath complains about persecution of non Christians in other countries.
Such odd takes, tainted by modernity.

I don't think claiming "modernity" is the same as having a fair assessment of reality. Clearly, Nicholas II is a Saint, because he was martyred, and that's a good enough reason for me. The Church says so, and so it IS so. Unfortunately there was a lot he could have done during his life that would maybe have staved off some of the troubles that Russia faced for the next 100 years, and it's important to discuss both of those aspects, not just be skewed to one or the other. I appreciate your comment!
