Where is John Campbell? He was four times English Football League top scorer between 1891 and 1896, three times individually in 1891-92, 1892-93, 1894-95 and shared in 1895-96. With 145 goals scored in first tier English football I think only Denis Law and Kenny Dalglish are ahead of him and he scored more goals against the English than any other Scottish player in the 19th century.

best two strikers were law and dalgliesh, best two midfielders were souness and bremner, best two defenders was miller and mcgrain, best wingers were johnstone and right midfielder strachan. best goalies were leighton and goram. special mention for gemmil, mo johnstone and mcfadden. peter weir should have been involved more. great player.
