I love how Jonathan isn't just dark for the sake of being dark. He doesn't hestitate to list some influnces that aren't edgy at all. Much respect for authenticity.
I love how Davis just admits he’s a novice when it comes to his knowledge of metal music that he just grew up on hip hop and funk music and applied it’s influences to his band. Really explains all the unique quirks of the bands music.
mariofromthabarrio Me too, my kids were teens in the 90's and all I heard from their rooms when they'd get home from school was Korn. They were my first!!! 😁😁🖤🖤🤘🤘
My favourite vocalist of all time. I got to meet Jonathan when I was a VIP at the Dublin, Ireland KoRn show back in 2012. What a legend! If you haven't listened to their new album The Nothing yet, get on it, it's amazing!
Watching him talking about the music he grew up with, the music he loves Is soooo Amazing, plus he looks fine wich Is sooo relieving, I know the pain Will never go away, but he Is going on with Life and this Is very good. I really Hope that the Kids are fine...
@@ALL_that_ENDS He has relaxed over the years though. In his early years his arms were crossed so tightly I can almost feel the tension in MY arms. And playing with that hair which he still does. I've been to well over 300 concerts in the last 40 years and I have to be honest with myself that the energy level of Korn and the sheer talent of JD sticks out to me. I have to say they're at least in my top 3 but, that's only due to the fact I seen Pantera when they first came out and, Shannon Larkin from Godsmack was in a band in the 80s called Wrathchild but they found out a band in London i believe was named the same so..they changed it to Wrathchild America and they were young and playing Shiley Acres in West Virginia and Wow what a show!! Shannons one of the sickest drummers out.
I wanna personally thank JD for introducing me to what now is my all-time favorite band, Acid Bath...he mentioned them as one of his favorites in an interview about 15 years ago and I was blown away when I checked them out...Dax Riggs is so underrated it's criminal

So, Korn has been my favorite band for the past 21 years. Seen them the most in concerts. Just got into Run The Jewels last year and will be seeing them in concert with Rage against the machine this summer. Always wondered what JD would think of RTJ. So, this was ironic...
Even when he said "When KoRn hit everything, when we were on top of our game" it's with a nostalgic smile on his face. A man who knows his prime has passed, but he's cool with it, because nothing will ever take away how big they were and how important they still are.
