Interesting! I believe they're using the Nomad Defense frame, which is made for Gen 4 & 5s. Maybe 3 too (might need to fact-check myself on that). But it's nice that LFA is offering it as a whole package. I never heard of this pistol until now. Thanks for making this video. Looking forward to range/match update on it. Be well!
I work at a premium firearm store, and we started carrying LFA. the Apollo 11 is catching alot of heat and selling fast. but ive been very intersted in the 9XC. I currently have one for myself on layaway. Thank you for the review! Once I get a couple thousand rounds on it, I'll come back and update my review!
I bought one of these last month. Cost me about $600. The first 20 rounds I had two FTF. After that it's been flawless. I have about 250 rounds through it. Good gun.
What iwb holster did you get for this one? They say the regular 9x fits Glock 19 holsters but I believe the slide is longer on the 9xc so I wonder if it would still fit 19 holsters
What holster are you using? If this is the Nomad frame, and it sure looks like it does, then they do not work that well with G19 holsters. Even Nomad has a list of holster makers to go to.
I have an LFA 17 with the compensated slide with top window cut and a ported barrel from aim surplus. The recoil is really soft and very easy to track the dot when the slide reciprocates. Definitely recommend it.
Thank you for the upload. There's no actual owner videos on youtube for the 9XC. This video wasn't easy to find either. It doesn't come up in the youtube search. I had to google it instead. Does it come with additional backstraps?
Mine failed right out of the gate. Fired one round, slide came back, ejected the brass and picked up the new round from the magazine and then would not go into full battery. Was about 90%-95% into battery and the slide was locked. Couldn't move it at all. Finally got the slide to release, fired the round and upon getting another round from the magazine, did it again. So I got a RMA and the factory has it in their shop as of 24 Jul and still waiting word when it will be done and on its way back to me. I could not recreate this issue with dummy rounds.
@18dmedic Mine needed to be broken in a bit. It was tight from factory like shadow systems. It has gotten much better after a few hundred rounds. Hope yours comes back working great.

I just bought this as my first gun ever last Saturday. I of course know very little being new to it all, but after 200 rounds now I am loving it.
Awesome. I am glad you are enjoying it. Let me know if you are curious about it and have any questions.
Thanks for the information, appreciate it
this is the best glock clone i've ever seen for the price. Hopefully this gets more popular and people start making more videos on it soon.
Yes, I am going to add videos on this before too many get out there. I plan to shoot it in IDPA as well in the coming months to test.
Great review I am glad I found your channel
Thank you. I enjoy your channel as well, brother.

Cool I got a great deal at 460. Been pretty great.
I see. What a deal !!!
@AE-hi9uj Yeah wanted to build an awesome IDPA and EDC for under 600 to see how it would perform.

If the holster is closed on end you would need a 17 size holster. So yes longer than the 9x. An open 19 holster would probably work but gun stick out.
Awesome thank you

Using the same holster I use with p10c and olight. I don't buy equipment if I don't have to. Outlaw holsters ebay
Does the optic require a plate or is it direct mount?
Direct mount rmr cut
@@Heteachethmyhandstowar thank you, just picked one up, haven't got to messing with it yet. Excited to try it out.
@ryanhelm3726 I think you will love it. It may have a short break in period, but it should run great.

My carry gun, 1k rounds zero issues. But yes the coating needs break in.
Nomad Defense claims their frame is 100% parts compatible with Gen 5 parts, so you may very well be able to put a Gen 5 trigger in it as well.
@InvidiousIgnoramus Yes, I believe it would be compatible

Does it come with additional backstraps?
No, since it is aluminum, it is probably too expensive to include different sizes.
There is a polymer one too
@RyGuy80 Yes the polymer only one is a little shorter without comp or magwell. Not sure if it comes with front night sight
@@Heteachethmyhandstowar I have an extra polymer back strap insert that came with my falcon 9xc
@RyGuy80 I may have it too. Did not pay attention.
Does it work suppressed with gen 5 G17 threaded barrel?
@@kevinpickett9887 I would say I don't see why it would not, but I would contact lfa to make sure.
Do u have that stuff to try it out?
@kevinpickett9887 No. I have plenty of threaded guns so I don't need another.
@@kevinpickett9887 I am curious so if you try let me know
Have you shot any +p rounds through this 9xc??
Shot nato 124, so yes. Shoots it great.
@@Heteachethmyhandstowar sweet deal thank you!

@18dmedic Hate to hear that. Most of the people I talked to who had them loved them.
