King Ashoka his decision to spread Buddhist teachings and build pagodas and zedis containing real body parts of Buddha. In Myanmar built to 135 of Ashoka's pagodas and zedis, including the Shwe Min Hpone Pagoda. The tradition of burying precious items like gold and jewelry beneath the foundation of the pagoda during its construction.
"Ma Kwe," a lady who discovered the inner gold and ancient parts of the pagoda and made a wish to protect it. Also she possessed a white elephant and rode it everywhere she went. Explain that the King Anawrahtar Minsaw of Bagan desired the white elephant for its believed power, leading to a pursuit that resulted in the lady's capture and execution. My video upload is the trip of Shwe Chin Hpone Pagoda, near Kalaw, Southern Shan State, Myanmar. About 200 Years after the pass away of Buddha, the King Ashoka the Great rule the empire. At his highest power, the empire stretched from modern-day Iran through almost the entirety of the Indian subcontinent. After the war with Kalinga Kingdom, Ashoka walked across the Kalinga battlefield, looking upon the death and destruction and experienced a profound change of heart. Buddhist texts which treat him as a model of conversion and virtuous behavior. And then he decide to spread Around the world the Buddhist teaching and the Pagoda and Zedi with the real body parts of Buddha. In Myanmar,135 of his pagodas and zedis were built . The Shwe Chin Hpone Pagoda is the one of that pagodas. In that day the Pagoda or Zedi are built by the thing precious thing like gold and the jewelry are buried beneath the foundation of Pagoda. This Pagoda is also buried some part of buddha body. After years later the lady known as "ma Kwe". She is found the the inner gold of the pagoda and the ancient part of that Pagoda. And she make a wish and try to be fox the Pagoda. She got also the white elephant and she ride everywhere she go. In that day, the King Anawrahtar Minsaw of Bagan, the king heard about the white elephant with the lady. He want the white elephant (he believe that is increase the power of the king), then he and his army tried to catch the elephant and the lady. Ma Kwe, the lady hide the elephant and be caught by the king herself. She never told the elephant hiding place, so the king angry and excecution her. So she was become the spirit of that mountain and she annoying the king and army. The king is negociated with the sprit "Ma Kwe", that she can be rule the parts of area of around the complex of mountains. Nowaday, the spirit Ma Kwe is stay in the side of Shwe Chin Hpone Pagoda and the people worship her to the wish to fulfil and becoming better.
