The FMA comparison 😂 At least King Bradley is kind of inscrutable and brooding, it's not too far off! It's too bad that the only Italian-inspired fantasy author I've found doesn't have any book that may interest me but I'll need to keep an eye out for her next releases. I'm now realizing I've seen her name a million times because of her Jack the Ripper series and never realized her surname was Italian!

@@FunFantasyBooks I am slowly making my way out with Jade Legacy! A 700+ book is not ideal but I'm already invested in the story enough that it's not a chore to read. Oh no, anything you don't like or it just has a slow start?

It has 3 PoVs and each of them are at the moment separated threads 🧵, that plus the norse wording is what’s dragging me! But hopefully it will pass once I have more context about the characters!!
