I’m so glad that Mass Effect Legendary Edition exists because now so many people are being introduced to a phenomenal trilogy and amazing characters. Mass Effect is like no other. The amount of work and details dedicated to this game is something of another world. It’s unfortunate that Bioware’s work conditions weren’t the friendliest with strict deadlines and overtime, but still I have so much appreciation for this trilogy. It’s one of my favorite series of games.
Love how the Legendary Edition motivates people to try Mass Effect for the first time. It's a great game. You're in for a ride Oh and don't let yourself be overwhelmed by all the info the game throws at you. It might be a bit much at first but you'll learn most of it by just playing :)
Late comment, but I must say, I love the comedy that both of you have as a couple. You complement each other. "Did you know Jargis is dead?" "He knows." "Hey, did ya know Jargis-" "He knows." "Hey! Did ya know-" "Everyone knows." Plenty of chuckle-worthy moments from you two in these livestreams. Goofballs.
Electronics and Decryption are very important if you want to be able to loot locked crates. As long as you have squad mates with either or both of those talents you can get into crates locked with either talent. Providing you have enough points into those skills. The higher the difficulty of the crate's lock the more points that are required. Works the same if you have the talents on Shepard. If you use the power provided by a talent enough times, it will be unlocked as bonus talent you can choose for a new character or a game+ playthrough which is you play through the game again with a character you completed the game with before and you keep the gear you had from the previous playthrough.
I miss watching the streams live. My job started back up and I haven't had much time to watch. I still love the community and the positivity they bring. 💙
The codexes are such a cool aspect of these games, helps that they’re narrated by Neil Ross, a British-American voice actor who I mainly know for narrating PBS NOVA documentaries and so forth, making it all the more enjoyable to be educated about the lore of Mass Effect.
Yeah ME2 was definitely the best of the 3 for me. All 3 games are excellent though. This is definitely Bioware at their best making games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age.
I know I’m late, but I just started following your channel after binging cinematic horror games like The Quarry, was recommended D:BH through TH-cam, then your streams with Raag, and eventually wound up here. I’m so grateful to have found this! The two of you are super fun and welcoming, and your choices of games are all great! I’m happy you enjoyed your first playthrough and shared it with us. ❤️ I’m a straight woman and it’s hard for me to miss Matriarch Benezia’s space bobs. 😂 Btw when the player fast travels to Chora’s Den the camera always (nonsensically) faces the opposite direction after auto transit which makes it super confusing and is probably why you got turned around. I remember that part always low key annoyed me lol. RIP to the real MVP of Mass Effect, Jargis. 💔 Thank you for the smiles and laughs and for connecting with your fans like this! Lets hope we never get another choice "Game" from David Cage ever again. They're just FMV's with button prompts and terrible writing. Connor and Hank were the only good characters in a david cage game and that's only because alot of their lines were improvised.

I hope you both are doing well, I know this has nothing to do with the game yall played but, some weeks ago, I went to my dads house in Louisiana, and I asked my dad if I could play some games that he has, and I saw that he had the game detroit become human, and when I saw it, I started freaking out lol, I was like " NO WAY THATS THE ACTUAL GAME " and when I clicked the game, I started to get very exited lol, I only got to finish half the game, I wish I could have finished the whole game, but other than not being able to finish the whole game ( because I went back home ) I had so much fun playing it! Ahhh this is gonna be so much fun! I bet I am one of the few people out there who is diving directly into the legendary edition and have never experienced Mass effect before Edit:- Wow I am surprised that almost 52% are never in my whole life.
I've been binge watching different streamers play this game and it never gets old. The first game is honestly the weakest of the three in my opinion, so if you enjoy this, I imagine you'll LOVE the next 2 games. So happy to see you two taking this one on. Good luck.
Yeah ME1 is definitely the weakest of the 3 though the remaster is definitely better than the original. Muc nicer graphics wise and I mus tadmit I like the upgraded CC as well. The fac tthey tweaked the Mako made a nice change too.

Jane and John are for those that want the default appearance and New Id is for those that want a custom appearance. A big revamp is that they made the creator pass over all three games. Before you would have to tweak Shepard in the second game as the creator was changed between the first and second games originally. You can use any weapon type in the first game, originally you could not use the scope on a sniper rifle unless you have the training for them. Legendary Mode for leveling has it as a 30-level system like the second game, classic has a 0-60 level, but I believe they removed it, so you're not locked to 0-50 on your first playthrough of the game.

The Legendary Edition did improve the graphics of all 3 games but its most noticeable in the first game. Combat and Ai was also improved in the first game, your companions use to have a nasty habit of shooting you in the back instead of the enemy if you were lined up with their line of sight. Even though there is no friendly damage it was extremely annoying. The Legendary Edition also incorporates all 3 games and their DLCs, except for one for the first game because something happened and the source code for it was corrupted it also lacks ME3's multiplayer. For PC it also enabled controller support for all 3 games. Some weapons in the first game also were changed. Before the only difference between weapons of the same type was the typical states shown to the player, but now they have different firing modes. One line of assault rifles is semi auto so they function more like a battle rifle, some are full auto and another fires in burst. The same is true with pistols and sniper rifles. It also changed gun play with the sniper rifles by reducing the weapon sway. Much of the other changes for ME 1 were for the in-game vehicle the Mako. Its not just a remaster and re-release but a re-release with some improvements.

I would recommend turning squad powers ON. Turning them off weakens your squadmates.
Yeah I tend t oturn all squadmates poewrs on and level themselves up freely. Generally I just focus on my own powers.

This is one of the few game trilogies that I refuse to play with a controller on PC.
