I only recently started reading their stuff, and I honestly have no idea why the Power Pack is so obscure. They do eserve more recognition from what I've seen.
The power pack was my first physical comic book. I forgot which issue but it was the power pack stopping mystique at a convention with I believe the help of beast. Sadly they’re often used as cheap shock value nowadays when I see them mentioned or incorporated in the wider marvel universe such as in deadpool kills the marvel universe to show how “dark” and edgy the story is by offing some kids.

Power Pack was one of my favorite books and got me into comics back in the 80s. And now, as an adult, this team got me into collecting omnibus.
Thank you! I loved The Power Pack back in the day. Disney could easily turn it into a family level series.

Plus shows revolving around a group of misfit kids taking on inconceivable threats do well like stranger things, wednesday, etc its the era of young adult coming of age stories. Disney missed the mark bad

I didn't realize how much history the future foundation kids all had together, its neat they brought Alex back together with Leech, Dragon Man and Franklin.

I'm surprised that they weren't. There's loads of potential for them, especially in animation. I remember years ago they had a live action show or special but it only aired in Canada.
I often wondered what ever happened to them as I use to read the comics when they first came out. But I grew up and life got in the way. There are a lot of comics from back in the sixties and seventies that I lost track of over time. I'm glad you guys are here to catch me up. ❤

Marvel's youngest superhero team...I enjoyed their team-ups with the X-Men, the Avengers, Cloak and Dagger, and the world-famous Fantastic Four respectively. I like their stories in the main Marvel Universe (Earth-616), but I also like them in Earth-5631, the All-Ages Universe.
When I was in Elementary School there was some hardcover compilations of the Power Pack. They were my first exposure to the characters and dumb baby me thought they were made for those hardcover books.
The Power Pack would make a nice Disney/Marvel series.

Power Pack was the book that got me into comics. The original Louise Simonson run is still among my favourite comics of all time. I wish Marvel could find some way to reset the timeline , bring Louise Simonson back and release more adventures with the Power kids.

I alway liked _POWER PACK_ . Even as I grew up, I still would pick up books they were in. My comic buddies always laughed about it, but it was just too fun of a read for me to care. So, I went out of my way to tell them about every issue! lol!

In the movie adaptation, the rainbow girl is a speedster. Katie also can project energy orbs. I can't remember if the boys' powers had some alteration.

This would make a great Disney flick. They could use something to capitalize on the momentum of D/W and going outside the box in this manner would be well-received and boy, isn't the source material right up Disney's alley? I know it won't happen, but what the hell? I'd like to see Ralph Hinkley in the MCU, and that's not likely either.
Power Pack was then what Ms. Marvel is now: they kept pushing these characters but nobody cared. They did crossovers with the X-Men and Franklin Richards ran with them and had them switched up powers but they never took off
I remember seeing these kids advertised all over comics that I bought (non-superhero Marvel comics).
It was a different time then. Louise Simonson had pull at Marvel seeing as her hubby was writing Thor and June Brigman who was also one of the creatives who illustrated the Brenda Starr comic strip.
Power Pack , I was a aware of them but knew nothing about them since they didn't crossover to the traditional comics . I have the feeling Marvel was trying to build a new group of Superheroes to split from The Establishment but couldn't because of funds or not everyone was on board . The original book went off a cliff after Louise Simonson, Carl Potts, and Jim Shooter left. Some of the Jon Bogdanove stuff was good. But, ugh, don't get me started on Michael Higgins run. Who told that guy he could write?

Funny enough, I discovered The Power Pack well before I discovered The Avengers. It was a crossover comic with Spider-Man, and Venom (or the Symbiote) as the antagonist.

I knew about power pack but never really picked it up. I did like that powerhouse was a member of the new warriors.
This is one of the things that I would love to see as a series on Disney+, but I don't see how it could be done well enough to not be terrible.
Now you _know_ they really can't stop themselves from changing most things about the whole concept of Power Pack, from the races to the sexualities of most if not all of the cast from the parents to the kids themselves. _Especially_ considering what Disney/Marvel has been doing lately and what they're rumored plans for Fantastic Four, X-Men and other upcoming films and shows.
The Runaways show on Hulu had similar potential.
It could be a good kids show where MCU characters pop in to help with random things and teach a lesson or something

All of the Power siblings are aging, but in the most recent Power Pack series, Katie is still acting like a six year old. Alex is eighteen, Julie is seventeen, Jack's getting close to starting high school, so Katie should be almost 10-12.
People don't age in Comics! The same thing goes for Batman, Spider-Man, Superman etc.,

I always prefer the Power Pack as they originally appeared as kids 12 to 5 years old. Having them age took away the magic that their earlier adventures had. The out of continuity all ages mini-series from the early 2000s manage to recapture the feeling of those early Power Pack stories.
