Ya, I think the old ride in general will always make it hard to really fix some of those problems. Just a technology gap I think haha. But it was feeling decently smooth! Thank you!! 😊
Hey Dillion…thank you and y’all for the videos…I stumbled onto your channel and have really enjoyed them. The thought that the Rocking Roller Coaster may have been smoother may ACTUALLY be the case. I was with the Engineering and Maintenance Team at Busch Gardens Williamsburg for a good number of years. The coasters have various hardness wheels for various reasons…speed, smoothness and wear characteristics…and durning any refurbishment all wheels are changed out…to ensure long lasting safe operation once the ride reopens. (As a side note…every wheel was inspected BEFORE the coaster would open EACH DAY at Busch…so as to ensure safe operation throughout the whole day) I pray you and you wife are blessed with safety, health and success.

It did go down for refurbishment last year I think for a little bit of time, so I wonder what the switch up was. I heard they made a change with the technical side of things and then they swapped it back to the original just recently. But I have NO idea if that's true. Question: have you guys ever taken the Trams? I used to, but now prefer to walk. Did you know there was a time when the Trams did not have doors on them - that was back when people had common sense which definitely seems to be lacking these days. LOL. HS doesn't look to crowded there - and I've heard in general that the parks seem to be light on attendance. Those reel-to-reel players in that showcase bring back memories! I even worked on computers that had them - just like you see in the old movies. Haha. I thought that they were going to re-theme it to Queen. If they are playing their music, maybe they are just testing the idea? I seem to remember reading somewhere that they had issues with the rubber used either on the cars or the breaking mechanisms, which is what needed to be replaced - so not much changed. Commisary is one of my favorite places - they used to have an awesome fish/chips meal, I can't say that I have ever had a bad meal there. OMG - I have to get that Jar Jar Binks hat!! LOL. That was some lightning on the way out - YIKES! Heading over to your home town soon, stopping by a few days to visit the planetarium and Sears/Willis Tower on way to Glacier National Park in Montana. Be well.
Really?? I guess convenience would be nice to slide in and slide out, and sometimes those handles confuse people haha. But I guess you can squeeze a few more people in if it's busy, since the wall of the door can hold you in? We do take the trams every so often, but we like to walk, and depending on where you park, it's quicker. Sometimes those trams sit there for a few minutes it feels like, so we don't mind. Parks are all still very light on attendance outside of the 4th of July crowd at EPCOT and MK. I think that's just how it'll be till I assume winter break. I was shocked with HOW much Queen is being played. Nicole LOVES Queen, so if they did that, she would have a heart attack haha. But it just seems weird that outside of the pre-show and the ride itself with the music, you don't get much Aerosmith at all. More Queen, so maybe they will do a hot swap at some point. I did hear the same, that the breaks or something with the tires they use to move the cars along were wearing out? But who knows, maybe they swapped out some wheels on the trains themselves. Also, the evolution of the computer is fascinating, much like I feel the reel-to-reel players in there are. Cool to see technology advance so far! Honestly, it's a really consistent restaurant, I'd have to agree. We typically get a lot of good items, maybe not the best we've ever had, but it's overall just a great joint for a quick bite of food with good variety. NO WAY! LOL. I thought it was so funny, I don't see them like EVER, so I'm glad there's people actually buying them haha. That was just the one I could capture, there were some CRAZY lightning strikes before that haha. Also, enjoy Chicago! If you like specialty burgers, check out Kuma's Corner, it's a heavy-metal themed restaurant with some wild burgers. Have fun!
I really hope Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is smoother overall and it wasn't just the front row. lol The Carnitas Tacos are pretty great. Enjoyed the video, crystal clear quality too!
@clang83 I think it's nice! I thought it was pretty dang smooth, so maybe I'll have to give it another ride soon to test all seats haha. And those tacos, right?? Way better than I thought it was going to be. We have always tried to release high quality content, glad you notice!! 😊
If you like rollercoasters, it's definitely one to try! Older ride still, has an old design, but it's still a lot of fun. Could use more objects and things throughout the darkness, but it's fun none-the-less!
It's nice to have a good experience at Hollywood Studios! Also, the view from the ray bans was too dark 😂 we need to try them on a brighter ride!
