I stopped shopping at Aldi bc the prices on the Walmart brand or Kroger brand items was the same or less. Plus my Aldi, the produce goes bad so quickly. Happy to see your face this morning and praying you all are feeling better!
Yes, I have also noticed the Aldi prices have gone up so so much. I don't shop there anymore because I can do a Walmart or Sam's pickup order for the same cost yet saves me tons of time from going in-store and reduces any impulse buys. I used to LOVE Aldi, especially stocking up pantry items. But, it just isn't justifiable anymore for me to shop there. Plus, I find that the produce at Sam's is so much fresher and lasts way longer, so I end up not wasting it. I do agree with you, the cost of feeding our families at home is so expensive now. Granted it is less than going out of course, but man have the prices gone up so much even for basic necessities. I have become much more diligent about using leftovers, freezing extras, working different ingredients into meals to avoid waste. The grocery budget just isn't stretching like it used to, and since that is usually the budget item we could use for wiggle room when needed, that luxury isn't there any longer.
My Aldi overall is still the best prices in my area. I shop sales at a couple of other stores but still use Aldi for the majority of my shopping. Great to see you back! Missed you
This something I Learned from my Mum. When freezing bread / bread products put a piece of paper towel in with the bread and keeps it fresh! It does work …I make my own bread but once in awhile like you if find it on sale I stock up and freeze it!
I pray you guys are all feeling better soon. My life has been so crazy busy, I haven't been able to watch a lot of videos lately. But I pray for your family every single night. I live in Canada and groceries here are insane. 1 thing of strawberries about the size you have in this video is going for $7.99 for one, if not on sale. I go to a store in my town that is a Godsend and sometimes they have strawberries on sale 2 for $5. This week they have cucumber's and apples (per pound) that are 88 cents. That's where I do most of my fruits and veggies shopping a regular grocery store here you'd go bankrupt. It's getting insane everywhere.
That’s actually a lot of groceries for the price. I do agree, though, Aldi has really gone up on their prices! I still feel like there are lots of things cheaper there than other stores. Of course the big box stores are cheaper for their bulk sizes, but if you don’t need an item in bulk, Aldi is still a great place to find every day low prices. Groceries in general have soared in price since the virus! It’s crazy!!
Not just Aldi, but everywhere I shop has gone up. Everytime I go I swear at least 50% of the items have gone up since the last time I shopped. Its insane!
Wow, yes Aldi has gotten expensive in Oklahoma also. The same bread you purchased was $1.75 a loaf at our Aldi. I make a lot of our bread. Luckily we have a Winco that has great prices on things I don’t can or make from scratch. We are very blessed to have a Sam’s, Walmart, Aldi, Winco and Costco all within the same mile strip of shopping stores. Costco is the most expensive in our area. 💜
Glad you’re getting better. Aldi in PA is often higher on same items at Walmart now too. Prices go up each time we visit. We don’t buy strawberries and blueberries out of season anymore, too costly. We buy our meat locally grass fed, cheaper than Aldi or Walmart and better quality.
Second viewer😊 Good to see you back! That does seem expensive but it’s not shocking. I have thought about logging what we buy from Costco and Sam’s through the year and see what the prices do. Our almost 18 year old is starting to see this. She will go to the store and then give me a text saying you would not believe what all this cost. It cracks me up. I tell her welcome to becoming an adult. Everything cost too much. The other day she went by the gas station to get a drink and snickers. She said it was eight dollars. She couldn’t believe it. I told her now do you see why we keep waters and quick grab and go snacks around the house for people to take when they are going to be gone a while.
I spent $114 and waked out of our grocery store with ONE BAG! I shop at Aldi for specific things. Quick seasonings, specials on fruit. Some snacky breads. But overall it’s not a place where I can get a full grocery haul. Our town had two other grocery stores and they can be pricy. But because they are all within one block from each other I can stop and compare at all of them and get the best deal for me
Hello from Fredericksburg, Va. I feel prices definitely have gone up but I also see same in Lidl and my son is pharmacy technician at local Walmart and the prices have gone up there as well and see increase when we go into Costco too. I just look at weekly adds and look up prices in Walmart on app and get from cheapest. Feels like a job grocery shopping each week. I think where Aldi and Lidl were our escape from higher prices in past now there used to be not as much a gap in price difference. Looking back I remember Walmart was our lower priced option before Aldi and Lidl came along. Viscous cycle. Glad you all are feeling better.
My oldest son has been ill and was given a case manager from his health insurance. She just told me this week we qualify for a $75 gift card they offer to purchase fresh fruits and veggies from Walmart. Apparently they offer it 4x per year to all families with this kind of insurance (Children’s Medical Services in Florida) who are not receiving government assistance. We have had this insurance for our kids for 5 years, but this was the first time someone mentioned that benefit. I just wanted to share in case it might be an option for other families as well. I wish someone had told me sooner.
Eggs at aldi was 3.12 a dozen and walmart is 4.72 for 18. We buy the 10 lb bag of leg quarters to make dog food at walmart just went up another 1.00. Definitely not surprised. but
I use Aldi for specific items and shop sales at other local grocery stores. Yes I too have sticker shock with all the things these days Glad to see that your household is on the mend.
I'm so happy to see you're back. Hope y'all are all feeling better. We've been fighting severe sinus infections over here. Groceries are ridiculous now. You gotta shop the sales.
I love Aldi and it is cheaper for us on the things we buy. Ive actually noticed some of their prices are coming down too. But I'm sure it varies by area and by what you purchase.
I'm glad to see you today and praying that all sickness leaves your home once and for all. We have an Aldi in our town but I never go there. I remember years ago buying some can corn and it still had stems in it. Idk, I just never understood the hoopla of that store. To each their own tho.
Hey Tiffany! I went to an Aldi a week ago for the first time in over a year, and the prices there just are not worth it. It’s not like how it used to be. I agree that Sam’s is worth it. You can get high quality produce there for a lot less than what it would cost at a Wal-Mart or an Aldi, and it stays fresher longer.
So many people here have stopped Aldi because it's as high as Walmart. There just aren't many deals any longer seems like. I find it hard to shop sales because they aren't really sales. You got nothing for $175. It's crazy! Ty for sharing.
Goid Saturday night! I feel you on the groceries being so expensive! We have been sick on and off since Christmas. It's not been fun. I was out of work for a week. Good grocery haul! Thanks for sharing your wonderful family!❤❤❤
About 90% of the items I buy at Aldi are cheaper there than they are at Walmart. I love Aldi. The price of everything has went up everywhere but it’s still cheaper to shop at Aldi here where I live in Missouri.
I don’t shop Aldi anymore. Their produce goes bad so quickly and some of the boxed foods have shrunk . I shop all Kroger sales and Sams Club is consistent on their produce and cheaper and if there’s a problem they fix it . Glad you are feeling better. Thank you ! 🍇🛒🍇
I agree with you about Aldi's I have noticed over time some things are cheaper at Walmart then there as well.i go to Sam's club and stock up and break down into smaller portions it saves us so much money in the long run.i have really missed you vlogs I check everyday to see if you have posted anything I really hope you all feel better.
Our Aldi just raised our prices again on certain products. I am constantly comparing prices to find better deals. It's nuts with how much food has went up.
I agree. I feel like I've gotten used to grocery prices being up (which is sad!) but I cannot believe the price for this Aldi haul from our Aldi which is usually so cheap.
I've been watching grocery hauls for years and the first thing I noticed was that the prices TH-camrs were quoting were half of what I was paying in Tampa. Currently, I think your prices are catching up with ours.
I rarely shop aldis, because with digital coupons, and gas coupons, I save more at krogers and it’s 5 minutes away. The prices are going up definitely.
Good morning!!! I enjoyed coffee with you today...I sent you an email that I was thinking and praying for you all....one day at a time and way to get groceries to help your family out!
Hi, hope you're all better, nice to see you. A question about the cucumbers, why are they called English cucumbers? Okay, I'm a Brit and they look like the ones we get, so what is the difference between that and an American cucumber. I love watching your hauls. Take care.
The prices at Aldi seem crazy lately! How much was the cat food? I feel like the rest of it should have been a little under $100. Last time i went into Aldi i spent $98 and some odd cents and bought very similar to your haul just minus the cat food. I walked in thinking it should only be about $75. There are a few things we really like the Aldi brand of and for the most part their produce is pretty good in our area but I've also been shopping there less and less recently and more at Sam's club.
Aldi has gone up....but everything has gone up everywhere !! I scan the sale ads and honestly if isn't on sale..especially meat. I don't buy it !! Yes, i love Sam's and especially there monthly deals. But honestly before we all could go in Aldi and come out feeling happy & accomplished but not any more. ❤
I have also stopped shopping there as much. Fir awhile nowi stopped buying bread from there because the top of the bread was so dark and I don't like that
💙💙💙 So far our Aldi is always cheaper than or equal to Walmart. I get fruits and veggies from Dillons. Thanks for sharing. You look much better. Love 💕 and Hugs. 💙💙💙
Prices are getting higher and higher with no end in sight. Walmart brand hamburger buns were $.88 before Covid but have now increased to either $1.46! Ridiculous!
It wasn't like that for us at all; everything was so much cheaper at our Aldi; I'm talking you could spend half as much at Aldi as you would going to Walmart. I'm afraid that isn't the case anymore.
Aldi has gone up. I just think everywhere has gotten so high you have sticker shock today. I’ve found shopping the sales ads and hoping for marked down meats and breads is the way to go. Of course, If the bread isn’t on sale bake your own for health Sake and saving money too!
It is very expensive and it's probably going to get worse is my thoughts on the way things are going it's terrible and I pity the families with many kids cuz that's just got to be a lot of money God bless and take care
I hope you haven’t stopped making videos. I enjoy them and have missed seeing them. Hope everyone is feeling well.
I stopped shopping at Aldi bc the prices on the Walmart brand or Kroger brand items was the same or less. Plus my Aldi, the produce goes bad so quickly. Happy to see your face this morning and praying you all are feeling better!
I got a cheap bag of potatoes from Aldi and I had to throw half the bag away they went bad after a week
Our aldis is getting high too but still cheaper for some things we buy. I agree about the produce. Awful. 😔
Yes yes and yes! Aldi is not the end all be all anymore for the exact reasons you listed so sad 😢😢
Honestly that’s quite a lot of food for $175. The cat food and Philly cheese steak meat was probably $40 of the $175. I think you did great!
Haha I’m glad you think so! But unfortunately I do not 😂😂😂

I’m so happy to see you and your family are feeling better and you were able to film. I have prayed for you while you were recovering.

Costco is the most expensive in our area. 💜
We don’t have a winco. I wish our sams & costco were closer.
I heard a few people commentlthat ALdi's prices have increased recently. Nice haul though! Good to stay stocked up at all times. Blessings...

We love Aldi. Can always find a little something special besides the traditional list of needs.
My Aldi has gone way up, too!
Welcome back, Tiffany!! Happy to see you!!! Hope you guys can stay well!!!

Groceries are at an all time high here in Michigan!

I love Aldi and it is cheaper for us on the things we buy. Ive actually noticed some of their prices are coming down too. But I'm sure it varies by area and by what you purchase.

WOW!!!
Aldi is my favorite. The bread is wonderful for my squirrels and birds
Love to all of you💗💗💗
Our Aldi just raised our prices again on certain products. I am constantly comparing prices to find better deals. It's nuts with how much food has went up.
I agree. I feel like I've gotten used to grocery prices being up (which is sad!) but I cannot believe the price for this Aldi haul from our Aldi which is usually so cheap.
So funny, I had all the same thoughts and made the same decision about Aldi cucumbers this week 😂
I've been watching grocery hauls for years and the first thing I noticed was that the prices TH-camrs were quoting were half of what I was paying in Tampa. Currently, I think your prices are catching up with ours.
Our Aldi has always been INCREDIBLY cheap. Unfortunately, I don’t think I can say that any longer 🥴 I can’t believe the prices there now.
I rarely shop aldis, because with digital coupons, and gas coupons, I save more at krogers and it’s 5 minutes away. The prices are going up definitely.
That’s wonderful!
In my area, Aldi is the same price as our Walmart. And I compared sams club to Walmart and Sam's was cheaper.
I agree, $175 for that is ridiculous! But it's the same everywhere. I am sick of it!
Same! I’d rather spend that at sams and have better produce!
So glad you are back🙂🙂🙂 Always end my day watching you all🩷🩷
Good morning!!! I enjoyed coffee with you today...I sent you an email that I was thinking and praying for you all....one day at a time and way to get groceries to help your family out!

Hope you are doing ok

Haha I’m not sure 😂😂
Can you pls show us how you make your Philly cheese steaks?
Just fry it up in a pan and throw it on a sub roll 😊
Complete sticker shock!!! I was so disappointed the last time we went 😕 Love all you videos!
🥴

Good morning Tiffany!❤ Beautiful
that would've been easily $300- worth in Australia

Groceries are sooo expensive!!

Yeah, Aldis prices are going up. 😔🙏🏽
❤❤❤
Not expensive at all lol. I usually get less than that for $200
It's VERY expensive for our Aldi 🤷🏻♀️
I went there last week and filled the cart. $355 without much meat, milk, or eggs. Pretty ridiculous!
😲😲
Aldi has gone up. I just think everywhere has gotten so high you have sticker shock today.

Everything even Adils has gone up😢
Food is so expensive. It is getting out of control.
Nope everything is expensive 😢 Aldi is rising like all the others. So sad.
