Never have I ever used a liquid lipstick...not once!! I am so a gloss girl and a stick lipstick user. But both Urban Decay lipstick's looked intriguing. My favorite shade on you was that last one you had on by Haus...the Rose Shine. Personally I liked all the shade swatches before they dried down because they looked glossy 😀💄💓💕💖
The Haus kind of stays glossy, too. But then if you eat, it kind of re-wets and then comes off more easily. The other brands both kind of go to a slightly shiny natural even tho one says matte and other says glossy.

They are really almost neon. They don’t wear extremely well and they can be a bit patchy upon first application but the shades are sensational
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yeah those are unfortunately my fav shades but I'll be passing anyway. Not the biggest liquid lip fan onlt bc I don't mind if they fade but how they fade. If they fade gracefully then I would wear them, but most I find fade with butthole lips 😂

Hello Mary! I completely and totally agree. The urban decay is a very very good liquid lipstick. Easier to apply than the Gwen version. Stays wet for a long time but that also lets you fix it up.
Great video! Thanks! What about the Maybelline line, which has a lower price point? Have you tried them? I bought the Urban Decay= great shade, but sipping on a straw, it transferred and also onto my mask.
Hello Loretta. That’s what I’m finding out about these liquid lipsticks that take a while to dry. It’s nice because you have some play time to fix them up but, once they dry they have a propensity towards getting wet again. Exactly as you say when you drink from a straw and there’s a little bit of moisture even they kind of go back to being wet and they smear. It’s a problem. I have heard the Maybelline are very good but I stick to high-end and luxury. Not to be snobby but just to have more of a niche. So I don’t know but I have heard wonderful things.
I was actually very interested in these so thx for the review. I also appreciate having your thoughts on your personal favs from the bunch.

I like many other people have become disenchanted with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow formula over the last several years, however, I’ve always loved their lip products. I genuinely think they are underrated
I think Urban Decay really does have underrated lip products. And some of their complexion products (I know, I know, WHAT complexion products???) aren't bad either. But they push push push their eye formula and, you're right, people aren't "buying" it, literally and figuratively.
I tell you once you got me on the channel liquid lip with gloss sealer never looked back lol nothing compares now

I’m so sad about the Haus Labs Atomic Shake! The reviews have been about 70% unsure-dislike, and I was so excited for the innovative formula from my ultimate queen, idol and icon, Miss Lady Gaga ❤️ I think I’ll go for the Urban Decay Vice Bond formula instead! Thanks for the fun, thorough review of these new formulas I’ve all been considering!
I agree with you too. I was disappointed by their performance because the colors are amazing. The good thing is, the new gaga launch at Sephora was absolutely gorgeous. This is just one little, I don’t wanna say fail because it’s not a fail but it’s just not the best liquid lipstick. The competitors are a bit better.
My current fave liquid lipstick is the Rare Beauty lip soufflé.

Oh my goodness, Beth, it’s so true. You know how they say that scent can elicit a memory like the smell of chocolate chip cookies baking or a campfire. With me the sight of a liquid lipstick can bring back that feeling of those crazy dry lips. Even though I swear it was 20 years ago

It felt drying so (the genius that I am) I thought “no problem! Just put a goopy gloss on top and voilà!!! No more dryness.”Right. We don’t care about grammar! Only lipstick that sticks to its word and doesn’t move. Ok. Adding to your gloss story. Thankfully not in public but my experience with the Haus Labs last night was that, as I had dinner, it got moistened and returned to its feral state, much like yours did with gloss on top. And it went everywhere. All over my face. I wiped my mouth and the napkin was covered.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty That’s EXACTLY what happened to me, except that it was in public. It was an event where you pay and it’s a big party from 7 until 11 PM. And yes, it was exactly as you described. It went everywhere. The minute it got “wet” it ran away. Literally. I was mortified and, when removing the whole thing in the bathroom, I ended up removing half of my foundation. Thankfully, I am not a full-coverage foundation gal. If I was, the disaster would’ve been bigger. Today I have to laugh because I don’t want to cry. Regardless, the Haus Labs color is awesome. Oh, I forgot to say: I do like that witch hat thingie. It’s super helpful!!! 🧙♀️💖💋

I hope your lips have recovered. I actually like a liquid lipstick, not like the old school KVd but more the Fenty style. I remember Nars had a semi liquid lip I really enjoyed. I might be willing to try the UD or makeup forever lippies at some point but I have soooo many lippies right now that I need to make a dent in.

@@mariestopa That new wave color is really interesting. Kind of a pinky purple. Check it out merely because it’s interesting and yet wearable. Strawberry shock is a very interesting warmer red. There were just very different but very pigmented, a little heavier like you described but comfortable.
I wanted to follow up and ask if the Rose Shine Atomic Shake became any easier to use? I love the color but like you, I don't do well with fussy lip products. The color is just pulling me in!
Hello Mary! The issues you raise here are exactly why I am still torn on the Lady Gaga atomic shake. The colors are extraordinary. They are almost neon really. And they look really pretty on the lip. But, unfortunately, they remain difficult to apply and patchy. They stay wet for too long and, later on if you either have a very heated conversation or grab a sip of water it’s almost like they become wet again and then can smear etc. So they are very editorial and look lovely on camera but I think it would be crazy making to wear all day unless you remain perfectly poised. I know I never do.
I really wanted to try the ID, but I was not fond of any of the shades so ended up passing. 🤷🏻♀️ Shots of what🤔🤣
Aileen!!! I agree. I wasn’t thrilled with the shade choices either and I thought it was just me so I didn’t even mention it. That’s so funny that you say that. Oh no. I filmed this a while ago and don’t know what the reference is. What did I say about shots? And if I get to choose on shots, I’m choosing tequila.
i hated liquid lip until i tried the huda brand. love her liquid lip
I like the Huda reformulated liquid lipstick too. But many have told me they still find the formula drying. I think the selections are a little bit easier to apply than the huda but they stay wet for a lot longer and it can be kind of annoying.
Did you find that the makeup forever enhanced your liplines as it wore? Heaven help me but I'm looking at possibly getting a couple even though my Urban Decay order arrives today 🙄🤦♀️
Hello Mary! Both the MUFE and the UD are just really really good. If you take either of them off poorly, they will stain lip lines but not as you wear them, thankfully!

I was really loving the colors of Haus Labs! But, patchy etc, I’ll probably skip those then. The Urban Decay colors looked really nice too, especially the PDA one, Liquid lipsticks I tried in the past were awful EXCEPT Chanel Le Rouge Duo! My fav! But, they have this amazing lipgloss that’s with it. But even when the lipgloss wears off, they weren’t drying on me. I do love the wet shine these liquid lips give you, but, I guess that shine wears off quickly. About the masks, same here in Florida. I think they’re bringing back the mask mandates again, even down here. Depressing. 😞. We have taken 4 vaccines each over the 2+ years. So far, we’re good. No guarantees, I know. Great review as always. Too bad I can’t try them on before purchasing. 🤷♀️to see if they’re too dry on me.
It’s true, Janice. You never know when something dries out your lips. I have been experimenting with these different shades for quite a few days and so far my lips are feeling fine, thankfully because I am very prone to dry lips. The Lady Gaga shades are absolutely gorgeous, almost neon and very innovative. But of the three brands they are the worst performing. When you eat they kind of get wet and then come off almost like any moisture on them brings them back to their original state, if that makes sense. As for mask mandates, I think I have to go buy masks again. I think I kind of ridded myself of them. I should have known better.
Did you try doing it how lady gaga said to apply them? You apply it and leave it on your lips for 15 seconds without touching your lips together at all then it shouldn’t be patchy! (Just curious)

You have to let all of them dry really. the interesting thing about these especially the gaga ones is that they kind of re-wet later when you have something to drink or even have a little bit of spittle from a active conversation. That being said, the colors are absolutely beautiful. Almost neon and so pretty. Just a little bit fussy.
Ugh! I wear a mask 24/ 7 but I cannot use these products. Yes, I only work 24 hr shifts but these liquid lipsticks just Trash my lips ! I have to say I have not tried these new liquid lipsticks. Do not consider my opinion ! I have not tried any of Rebecca’s reviews. It’s literally just my opinion. I just use regular lip glosses and I drink lots of water.
I know what you mean, Tina. It becomes once bitten twice shy with liquid lips. It’s hard to un-remember the torture that was yesteryear!
