I purchased the Micklagaard anorak recently. Beautifully made, incredibly warm. I live in Alaska and it’s perfectly suited for this weather/terrain. Ordering the pants, can’t wait to try them out!

How were they? I'm also in Alaska, and just found their site. I want to start doing winter camping again, and wanted wool pants. They look like fantastic quality from the pictures, what were your thoughts on the pair you received?!

I like the look of them, they look practical in the old fashioned way, I expect they probably cost a small fortune though.

@@dhyde9207 I have revised my opinion of them since looking them up online, they are not 100% natural wool, they add Silicon, and I ask why? Natural wool is as water repellant as you will ever get, why gild the lily?

can find surplus wool cargo pants online. I got myself swedish wool cargo trousers “three crown” for 50. It’s not as fancy but gets the same job done. There are others out there, just think of armies in both world wars. Australian has cargo pockets as well. Can also look for wool “hunting” trousers those have cargo pockets sometimes.
